Description

A Moonlight Ridge is a two story, one bedroom, and one bath cabin and is the perfect cabin for relaxation or recreation near Pigeon Forge. As you enter this cabin into the living area there are cathedral ceilings, a full size pool table, sleeper sofa and chair set in front of a cozy gas log fireplace and 46" HD TV which offers cable with HBO/Starz and a DVD Player. The fully equipped kitchen provides everything you need and there is a laundry closet with a stack washer/dryer for those extended stays. You can enjoy your meal comfortably seated at the dining table for four or choose to seat at the two bar stools at the counter for a quick snack. The deck provides the ultimate in relaxation in the NEW HOT TUB and deck rockers. Ascend the stairs to the open loft bedroom furnished with a king bed, dresser and full length mirror. Relax in the romantic jetted tub for two and enjoy your view of the mountains through the cathedral windows. Curl up under the covers and catch a movie on the 32" Flat Screen TV/DVD/VCR with HBO/SHOWTIME. For added convenience extra amenities have been provided from the phone at your bedside to the wall mounted hair dryer in the adjoining full bath. All cabin stays are provided a free starter pack of coffee, paper towels, toilet tissue, hand soap, dishwasher and dishwashing detergent for your immediate use. Enjoy the peace of the Smoky Mountains or take a short drive to the many shopping outlets at Tanger Outlets at Five Oaks and other area attractions. Your rates are based on 2 adults (12 or older) any additional adults will be 12.50 per night per extra adult.

Cancellation Policy

No shows will forfeit any monies put down.

All group stays (2 or more cabins), 4 bedroom stays and larger, and stays totaling $1200.00 or more must prepay their stay 30 days in advance. No refunds or changes for cancellation of these stays.

Other than those listed above, you can cancel or change your reservations with this host. Cancellation must be at least 30 days prior to arrival in writing. A $120 cancellation fee is deducted from prepayment, no exceptions. There are no refunds or cancellations less than 30 days prior to arrival for any reason. All stays are prepaid 30 days prior to your arrival.

To change a confirmed reservation, you must give at least a 30 day notice to the host and stay within 6 months of original arrival date. A $35 fee will be charged and your stay must be prepaid in full and no refund if reservation is cancelled. Reservations that are changed with the host cannot be changed or cancelled for any reason. No credit will be issued for unused portions of time in case of late arrival or early departure.

Amazing!

Everything about the stay was amazing! From easy check-in to easy check-out. The cabin was gorgeous and the views spectacular. It was close enough to all the attractions but secluded enough to enjoy the sounds and views of nature without the congestion of the buzzing with tourists. I can’t rave enough about our stay and visit with Aunt Bugs or the Smokies!

Come stay at the DUMP

Great company. Nice cabin. But the LOCATION is next to a landfill! The odor is so bad you can’t sit on the deck and enjoy the view. Very disappointing.

Christmas Holiday

Rented Moonlight Ridge for 3 days (including Christmas day). Overall very pleased with the cabin, and surrounding area (Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg). There were only a couple of negative items concerning our stay: Because of the nature of the advertisements, it indicated bringing "starter wood" for the fireplace(s). I called and asked for a definition of starter wood, as where I grew up it means kindling, not logs. I was told there would be no wood at all provided and I would have to purchase all firewood at local vendors. So I purchased my own and packed it in (and out) prior to arrival, only to find that the fireplaces are gas fed and no wood is required. While this may not be for all of their rentals, one would think the office staff would have a list of those cabins with gas and be able to relay that information. I certainly wouldn't have bought and carried firewood with me if I knew I didn't need it. Also, the cabin we rented is for sale. Not sure who is responsible for the maintenance (cabin owner or Aunt Bugs) but the windows were extremely dirty and filled with cobwebs. Also, the entry door blinds are broken, and a "handyman" could spend the better part of a day just fixing little things (wobbly coffee table, closet door scraping groove in nice wood flooring)) that would make the place more enjoyable.

Could have been great but very disappointed

An outdoor hot tub was one of the amenities listed on my rental. The hot tub was old and felt like sand paper, but we were still going to enjoy it anyway, until we realized that it didnt even work. Day 2 of our stay, we were promised that it would be fixed that day. Nope not fixed, so we didnt get a hot tub at all. It was mine and my wife’s first weekend alone since having our 2 year old son so you could imagine how much we were looking forward to it. The worst part of the whole deal is that aunt bugs offered me a $10 per night refund on the $250 per night cabin i rented and when i told them i wasnt close to satisfied on the situation, they pretty much said too bad. Ive emailed them a couple times about it, and not even a response.

The water at this cabin sometimes causes a calcium build-up on the walls of the hot tub. While the tub is emptied and cleaned between stays, we also have a special monthly cleaning that we do on this hot tub to prevent the sand paper feel that you are referring to. had a great time but

we came to relax and get away from a lot of tension in our lives. we love lying in the hot tub and was very disappointed by yours. It was dirty and water was yellow and we could not enjoy it. We like sitting on the porch and the odor of trash was nauseating.The bed was very uncomfortable, needs a new mattress,We had to buy a fan because it was so hot upstairs.There was long hair all over the bathroom upstairs. Other than that the cabin was good.
