Description

Boredom beware - Moonlight Theater Lodge has so many entertainment options, rainy days don't stand a chance. Able to accommodate up to 14 guests comfortably, this three-bedroom, three-bathroom mountain dwelling's many amenities will keep the whole gang amused without ever leaving the cabin - but with all the Smokies have to offer, you'll want to get out and have some fun, too!

Who says log cabins have to be rustic? The moment you step inside Moonlight Theater Lodge, you'll be blown away by the main level's lustrous wood-planked walls and floor, soaring cathedral ceiling and stone fireplace. Comfortable seating with a large flat-screen TV makes the living area a delightful place to spend time with family or friends, whether you're watching a movie on the BluRay player selected from the home's extensive video library, playing a game on the PlayStation 3 or just having a chat by the fire.

Flowing seamlessly into the living area so no one's ever far from the action, Moonlight Theater Lodge's dining area is a great place to enjoy a family meal or a lively board game at the eight-seat wooden table. Just a few feet away, a breakfast bar with room for two more separates the kitchen area from the living and dining spaces, making it ideal for setting out snacks buffet-style. The kitchen itself has everything you need to prepare as simple or lavish a meal as you could want. From the stainless-steel oven and stove to the refrigerator and microwave, all the major appliances are at your disposal. Additionally, the drawers and cabinets are well supplied with cookware, dishes, utensils and prep tools. A dishwasher makes post-meal cleanup a breeze, and all the extras - from a toaster to a blender are there. There's even a Keurig! Near the foot of the stairs, a bistro table with room for two gives you a bit of privacy to savor your morning coffee while using your tablet and the free Wi-Fi to plan the day's activities.

Too warm to fire up the stove? If you don't feel like putting on the air conditioner, fire up the gas grill instead! Just a few steps from the kitchen and dining area through the glass doors, Moonlight Theater Lodge's rear deck is a great place to enjoy the fresh mountain area any time of the day or night. Dine out at the wide patio table or relax in one of the comfortable rockers to enjoy the view. You can also grab a glass of wine and recline in the hot tub after a busy day of fun in the mountains.

Downstairs, Moonlight Theater Lodge features a fantastic home theater and entertainment area that's sure to keep the kids' attention for a few moments of peace. Kids and adults alike will love to settle back in the plush seating to enjoy a movie or sports match on the 110-inch projection screen. There's also a Wii gaming system and full-size pool table if you're up to a friendly challenge.

Why have one primary bedroom when you can have three? Moonlight Theater Lodge has a primary bedroom located on each of its three levels. All three rooms include a luxurious king-size bed, soothing ceiling fan, TV and roomy en-suite bathroom with a jetted tub. Also upstairs, a large, airy loft is sure to appeal to the kids thanks to its TV and plenty of carpeted floor space for them to spread out with their toys. The loft's two roomy sofas open into queen-size beds, making it into a bedroom for four where the kids will love having an impromptu slumber party!

Moonlight Theater Lodge is as much about convenience as it is about comfort. Fresh linens and towels are provided for all the bathrooms and beds, including the four sofa beds, so you can maximize your suitcase space. But if you do find yourself needing clean clothing, no worries - a handy stacking washer and dryer lets you refresh your wardrobe in a hurry.

Along with its own wealth of diversions, Moonlight Theater Lodge also offers access to Alpine Mountain Village's numerous amenities. In the summer you can splash about in its outdoor swimming pool, then laze poolside afterward. The little ones will love the playground, and everyone can enjoy the walking trails and the covered picnic pavilion.

Spacious and convenient

We loved the cabin! It had plenty of room for the 11 of us on three different levels. Super close and convenient to the main strip of Pigeon Forge. Highly recommend this place to other families.

Awesome Property!

The property was great and looked exactly like the pictures. I would definitely recommend this property. Decorated for Christmas and music playing when we got there. Bring your own hangars for the closets. We got there on Sat evening and we could not get connected to the internet until Monday morning. We could not figure out the theatre screen but we had a group of 6 adults and that really didn't bother us. I'm sure if I had called about it, they would have helped us get connected; however we kept busy the entire week we were there and did not miss it in the least. Only negative is, we were there a whole week and did not see any bears!

Moonlight Cabin Review

Cabin was great. We had 2 families stay here. 4 adults and 5 children. Had enough space for the all the kids to sleep in the loft and each couple to have their own bedroom. Kids had fun with the pool table and hot tub. Only complaint is our neighbors were very loud and we had no one to call and complain to.

Go into this cabin with the lowest expectations possible.

The movie theater room only plays basic cable. You can not use the DVD player, wii console, or playstation 3 console. None of the systems would connect. The playstation does not have a controller to play games with. The wii does not have a sensor bar which is required in order for the games to actually be played as well as none of them even being able to connect to the main system in order to even use them. It will just say no source connected. Even after maintenance came by and did not "fix" the issue. The basic cable does not provide any movie channels. So basically you have a "movie theater" that you can only watch basic cable on. The upstairs television would not connect to the cable until the maintenance fixed it on the last night we stayed there. After multiple emails and phone calls. The pool table is worn out completely almost unplayable. Both pools were closed even though we were informed by email and mobile app to pack for swimming since they have 2 pools for use. The only thing that was some what decent of the entire cabin was the hot tub. No hand soap in the main bathroom. The "movie theater" room couch is holding on for dear life do not expect a comfortable sit when watching your basic cable channels on a giant projector screen. There is not one complete board game set in the entire cabin. So make sure you bring your own family board games to pass the time since nothing else works in the cabin. There was 1 set of batteries for about 12 remotes. Mildew on the shower curtain of upstairs and downstairs bathrooms. When we were finally contacted by management on our last night there they were extremely understanding of the issues and we were informed we would be refunded an amount due to these issues. They were extremely nice and understanding of the issues. All in all I would not recommend this particular cabin for anyone to stay in.
