Luxury for rent! This fabulous gem has more class and grace than you will find in most log houses ( 'Tranquility' is located on 2 acres lot and this is real log house with large bedrooms). This is a 2 story house with a game room, bathroom and a covered porch on the lower level. With spectacular indescribable views and in a semi secluded location you would think that this would be enough but that is only the start! This beauty is located in a high end /gated resort setting with SWIMMING POOL ACCESS and hiking trails that follow meandering rivers and streams. There is also a chapel inside the resort and a picnic pavilion for those out door lovers who enjoy being around nature.

There is a volley ball court sitting right beside the pool and next to a picturesque pond so when you are gathering outdoors with your friends and family you will feel as though you are surrounded by all the tranquility that nature can offer! The huge glass and beam wall in the cabin offers you clear views of one of the best views in the county. Luxury furnishings surround you and you will feel like you are in heaven while cooking your meals in this first class kitchen. With a Jacuzzi tub in the bath room and a hot tub on the deck you wont run out of places to relax. Or sit back on the deck and take in the view . Unlimited wireless HIGH SPEED INTERNET and long distance calls ( USA) included, allowing you to be connected with the rest of the world. As you cross the covered bridge into the resort you will feel as though you have entered another realm of tranquility, with rest and relaxation everywhere you turn! Check if you can hear Shimmering stream at the back porch- this is a bonus.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your reservation 15 or more days prior to your arrival date a voucher for a future stay will be issued by host in the amount of the deposit less the reservation fee for use for a future stay within 365 days of the date of cancellation. If you cancel your reservation 14 days or less prior to arrival you will be responsible for the full reservation amount (you will forfeit the full deposit amount and the non-refundable reservation fee, and shall be responsible for the remaining rent amount and all other applicable charges associated with the reservation). Only the Guest named on the Agreement may cancel a reservation and cancellations must be made by phone call to Hosts Office.

Plans can be changed before 14 days prior to the scheduled check in with no penalty. No changes are permitted within 14 days of check in.

Nice spacious cabin

Tranquility is truly a luxury cabin. The rooms are very large and the attention to detail is hard to comprehend by just reviewing the pictures. The cabinet itself is unseen by other cabins. The resort the cabin was located in was very nice as well. The only negative was the AC had issues reaching the set temperature inside of the home during the hot July days during our stay, but did cool the home during the nights. We would stay in this cabin again.

We have been experiencing hotter than usual temperatures recently. A lot of our cabins have vaulted windows throughout the main areas and although they bring the beautiful views into the living areas, they also tend to allow more sunlight into these areas. During the mid-day it is harder to cool these areas to the same temperatures obtained throughout the evening. Many of our properties have ceiling fans throughout for this very reason. We sincerely apologize if it was uncomfortable for your group. We enjoyed having you as our guest and hope you will consider staying with us again during your next visit.

30th Birthday Getaway

I wanted to do something amazing and different for my big 30th birthday and this exceeded my expectations. I found this cabin through the Groupon deal for Elk Springs Resort. I booked 3 nights with my husband. The cabin is not on resort property, it is actually in a gated community not far from the resort. The area and location were perfect, it was not hard to get to. It was secluded just enough for relaxation but still close to everything in Pigeon Forge. The cabin was beautiful, very clean and welcoming. The amenities were great. The fire place, jetted tub, and outdoor hot tub all worked well and provided great relaxation. We arrived later in the evening when it was dark so it was an amazing surprise when we woke up to the spectacular views through the floor to ceiling windows in the living room. Check in went well, we received a text and a phone call letting us know our cabin was ready. It was actually ready early at 8:30 in the morning! Unfortunately we were still hours away and had plans for the afternoon. I would recommend calling the resort ahead of time to find out when the cabin will be ready so you can plan accordingly. There was severe, winter weather coming on the second night, so the resort called us to be sure we were aware and that we plan accordingly. I really appreciated this. Checkout was very easy, we received a text to remind us to call the resort to check out via phone. Overall our stay here was great, I look forward to coming back and telling my friends about it.

Quiet Getaway

Very nice cabin. Only cons: Family room furniture was very uncomfortable and the shower door in the master bedroom would get stuck closed. It took my husband 10 minutes to open it. A/C did not work well at all. Did not appreciate the envelope left by the housecleaning staff requesting tips. I would stay in this cabin again

I am very sorry you had such difficulty with it during your stay and your poor husband spent 10 minutes getting this to open. I see that you reported the AC not working on 4/22, but called back 20 minutes later saying it was working again. We want you to know that we welcome the opportunity to handle any issues while you are our guests to allow you to have a stress free vacation with us. Maintenance is onsite and could be at your cabin to address these issues within a matter of minutes. As for the envelope the housekeepers left in the cabin, it is your choice whether or not to leave a tip. You are under no obligation to tip at all. This really isn't any different than going out to a restaurant. They have a line to add a tip to your bill. It is your choice whether or not to do so. In spite of the minor complaints you had, we are pleased to hear that you found the cabin to be nice and you were able to have a quiet getaway from all the every day stressors of life.

Tranquility cabin

We enjoyed our stay at tranquility. The cabin is very secluded. I think the most positive note I could say is that I was very impressed with the customer service through elk spring resort. They were very quick & friendly with a couple of issues we had while staying at the cabin.

Great Stay

The whole family enjoyed their stay. Cabin was clean and neat, with everything that you need. The staff was very professional and very helpful. Also, the cabin is perfectly located, hence the name Tranquility. Very peaceful and quiet. Great experience and will definitely return.

First time cabin renters

Overall, we had a great stay. The cabin is in a good location and was clean and well maintained. The management staff responded quickly when called upon. We would rent here again if we vacation here in the future.

Beautiful Cabin

We stayed in Tranquility. It was a beautiful cabin, had everything you would want or need in it. Watching it snow out of the wall of glass was amazing. I would definitely recommend this cabin. We have stayed at Elk Springs 3 times now will never go anywhere else. Never any issues, staff is wonderful.

Peaceful Week in the Smokies

We booked the cabin on short notice and we were pleasantly surprised it was available. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. The cabin was spacious for our family and we appreciated all of the amenities. We had an issue with the hot tub, and the management company was out within a few hours to fix it and they followed up to ensure everything was working properly, which we appreciated. We did see a number of bugs, including spiders and millipedes, throughout the week. We live in the woods, and I understand those critters are around, but I think a better treatment system may be in order. My only other suggestion is brighter lighting in the master bedroom - we had to pull out a flashlight at night a few times while searching through our suitcases. We would recommend this space to others - it's a great home in a beautiful setting.

A Perfect Week in Tranquility!

We were here 6 nights over our spring break. Everything was amazing, the cabin was clean, easy to find (with good directions by the resort and from reading previous reviews), the area was great and we felt very secluded, with the comfort of having other cabins around (but area was designed that you couldn't see them), and it was great for our family of 5. The kids loved the game room and having their own spaces! We would 100% love to come back and enjoy another week soon.
