If you cancel your reservation 15 or more days prior to your arrival date a voucher for a future stay will be issued by host in the amount of the deposit less the reservation fee for use for a future stay within 365 days of the date of cancellation. If you cancel your reservation 14 days or less prior to arrival you will be responsible for the full reservation amount (you will forfeit the full deposit amount and the non-refundable reservation fee, and shall be responsible for the remaining rent amount and all other applicable charges associated with the reservation). Only the Guest named on the Agreement may cancel a reservation and cancellations must be made by phone call to Hosts Office.
Plans can be changed before 14 days prior to the scheduled check in with no penalty. No changes are permitted within 14 days of check in.
We loved the cabin. It was located in a serene community and contained all the amenities to provide comfort and relaxation. It is tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable! Not too far to get to many things to do, including all the attractions in Pigeon Forge. We would definitely recommend the cabin and Elk Springs, provided outstanding customer service.Would recommend to others? Yes

The cabin was very nice, clean. The spa was not. We only used it once because it smelled so bad, like mold and it was making dirty bubbles. The location was terrible. No privacy which I guess was our fault for not realizing it was in a community...but worse than that was the construction noise behind us. Nail guns, saws, cement trucks going by...not exactly a relaxing getaway!Would recommend to others? No

We have experienced staff members available to assist our guess at all times. We do have time-stamped photos of this cabin's hot tub cleaning on 4/27. If indeed it was not cleaned up to our standard, we could have easily sent someone out to evaluate and re-clean if needed. Please don't suffer, call us! We had such a wonderful time in this cabin. It was very clean and stocked with everything we needed (blankets, towels, kitchenware, etc.). The view was beautiful and the cabin was perfect. The Elk Springs Resort customer service was phenomenal - on our first full day, we even got a call to make sure everything was up to par. The only issue we had was with a party that apparently took up about 4-5 large cabins right below ours. They were loud all night, every night while we were there and it made enjoying the beautiful back porches at night impossible. We didn't know who to call about the noise and we didn't feel like calling the police because we were really just trying to enjoy a nice weekend away. The loft did not have stairs to access it and there were quite a few carpenter bees, but that comes with the territory in a cabin resort. Overall a wonderful stay! We will be back but will make sure there isn't a wedding or fraternity/sorority get away the next time we go.Would recommend to others? Yes

Elk Springs Resort - A Sweet Retreat Review
I recently stay at "A Sweet Retreat" at Elk Springs Resort in Sevierville, TN. The reason I was most dissatisfied with my stay is due to not having hot water. When trying to use the jacuzzi bath, there was no hot water. We eventually discovered that there was no hot water in the entire cabin. This started around 8:30pm on a Saturday night and was still not working when we went to sleep at 4:00am. There was a maintenance number listed to call if you were having issues with the jacuzzi, however, when calling, there was no answer and a message saying they were closed. Obviously, we pay per night, but we were without the amenities we were paying for AND hot water an entire night. We left a voicemail on the phone of the number listed and received a call back in the morning. The only thing we were told after explaining the situation was that if the water was now working there was no reason to send maintenance over. There was no apology or anything offered due to the HUGE inconvenience. I was told that they would speak with a manager and get back to us. We called back the next day when we were checking out to follow up and ask a couple of questions in regards to our checkout, but never got an answer. We left a voicemail and never had our call returned. It has been 5 days and we haven't received any type of follow up. The customer service was terrible, which I was not expecting. No matter how nice the cabin looks, it means nothing if you can't use the amenities and if the customer service is poor.Would recommend to others? No

Your review certainly concerns us, however, after looking into this information we would like to clarify the details of this review. You stated that the issue with the hot water started around 8:30 pm on Saturday night, however, we were not notified until after midnight, after the office closed. Two of our representatives tried contacting you the next morning once the office opened and could not reach you. They both left voice mails asking you to contact us. Once the representative spoke with you, she was informed that the hot water was working at that point. We did speak with the representative that spoke to you personally and she did apologize to you. While we can understand this can be frustrating, we are not able to compensate for issues that we can not verify or do not have a chance to correct. This cabin has not experienced any hot water issues either prior to or after your stay. Our technicians thoroughly inspected the cabin and could not find any issues whatsoever. We are sorry that you felt the customer service was horrible, we respectfully disagree. Our representatives have spoken with you multiple times, including today. Although we will not be approving compensation, we do offer our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience experienced and hope you were able to enjoy your time spent in our area.

Definitely a "Sweet Retreat"!
We spent our 25th anniversary at Sweet Retreat. It was everything we had hoped for and more! The cabin was so clean and tastefully decorated. The view from the bedroom is incredible! The clouds in and over the mountain were ever changing and we didn't want to leave after spending a week and waking up to a different view every morning. Elk Ridge Resorts was easy to work with and responded to our one maintenance issue immediately. The hot tub was leaking and they were able to get someone out to fix it within an hour even though it was the weekend. We spent every evening in the hot tub on the deck watching the stars. I would say the only downside to this cabin would be that it is in a neighborhood of cabins, so if you are looking for something isolated out in the woods, this cabin is not for you. Everything inside and out was so beautiful, though, that I would recommend giving it a try even if you thought you wanted isolation! When you are laying up in bed looking out the windows it feels like you are in the middle of nowhere!Would recommend to others? Yes

Cabin in the woods
The property was very clean and tidy. The setting lovely. We were dismayed there was no hair dryer in the bathroom and needed to purchase one. My husband commented on the very old linens and towels and the pillows were of a very poor quality. Certainly not up to what you would expect considering the high price of the cabin.Would recommend to others? Yes
