A Fun Stay
Overall it was a good and fun stay. The only problem was that the downstairs furniture/bed was completely out of wack, old, broken, and unsleepable. We end up sleeping on the floor in middle of the night from back pain.Would recommend to others? Yes
We are glad to hear that you did enjoy your stay! As you may or may not know each of our cabins are privately owned. Each owner personally chooses the dÃ©cor and amenities that they feel will be the most inviting experience for both themselves and guests. Mattress preference are very personal. Sadly we show no record of you contacting us about the beds. If for example you thought that it was too stiff we could have brought a mattress pad out to make the experience a bit softer for you. Really enjoyed the stay but the Jacuzzi was broke, they sent someone out to fix it but still didn't work :-(Would recommend to others? Yes

We did send the vendor to repair the hot tub, however the hot tub if not being used will go into sleep mode. The guest staying after used the hot tub and had no issues. Had we been made aware that you were still not able to use the hot tub we would have sent someone else back out from maintenance to assist you. Our desire at Eden Crest is to try and provide all guests with a wonderful vacation experience. We hope to see you again very soon!
Had a great week! The only problem we had the Hot Tub wouldn't heat and the carpets needed to be vacuum other than that a great time. We also stay with Eden Crest and we are always treated well.Would recommend to others? Yes

1. magnificent view2. kitchen sink "aerator spray" was not connected.3. magnificent view.4. towels VERY tough and "scratchy." suggest fabric softener or new towels & washcloths.5. would be good customer service on day of check-in if Eden Crest staff would stop by and activate fridge's icemaker by 10:00am.6. magnificent view...very peaceful and calming.7. have stayed with Eden Crest annually for past several years, including at least one previous stay in this cabin. may request same cabin next year.8. Eden Crest staff always prompt in responding to guest questions and needs.9. MAGNIFICENT view...or did I already say that?10. P.S. Found used soap (from previous guests?) on top ledge of shower in upstairs bathroom. Easy to have been overlooked...was not a problem for us.Would recommend to others? Yes

It is with much concern that I email you about our recent stay at one of your cabins. After many years of renting with Cabin Fever Vacations, we decided to rent from your company as a friend highly recommended your company. We were very impressed with customer service including stocking groceries to our cabin. However, we were very concerned about the dirtiness of the carpet on the lower level of the cabin. Although it was very dirty in appearance, I tried to overlook so we would have a fun vacation. After returning home last week, my previous dog, whom is like my child, developed a very serious case of Bordetella. We have had numerous doctors appointments and even an overnight visit to the hospital because she passed out coughing. After spending hundreds of dollars to treat an illness she caught in your cabin, the physician at the Emergency Center here in Greenville, SC said to notify you of the illness. Immediate cleaning of the cabin for the virus needs to be done, as the physician identified as the location Maggie caught the illness. She never visits public parks, locations, or is boarded. This was her first trip away from home.Needless to say, I am very shocked, concerned, and disappointed that my trip ended with nearly the death of my beloved pet. I will not be back nor use your rental company for fear of losing my pet.I never, ever complain as I am a senior retail manager, but felt you must be notified after the physicianâ€™s concern and shock about this event.A very concerned renter,I can provide my medical bills upon request.Would recommend to others? We are sorry to hear that your dog became sick. I assure you that we get all our cabins carpets cleaned several times a year by a professional. The carpet in Up, up, and Away is stained permanently but it was recently professionally cleaned and the Owners are looking into replacement options. Dogs "catch" kennel cough aka Bordetella when they inhale bacteria or virus particles into their respiratory tract. This tract is normally lined with a coating of mucus that traps infectious particles, but there are a number of factors that can weaken this protection and make dogs prone to kennel cough infection, which results in inflammation of the larynx (voice box). Exposure to crowded and/or poorly ventilated conditions, such as are found in many kennels and shelters, Cold temperatures ,Exposure to dust or cigarette smoke, and Travel-induced stress. Although kennel cough can sound terrible, most of the time it is not a serious condition, and most dogs will recover without treatment. Again, we are sorry to hear about your dog.

Up, Up, and Away was such an amazing cabin. The location is great and the roads are not intimidating at all. The cabin was very clean and cozy. We had a light bulb out that was fixed right away. The only problem was that the hot tub was not working. The cabin was absolutely stunning and I would recommend this cabin to all my friends and family. Eden crest did a great job keeping me up to date on check ins and locationWould recommend to others? Yes

Great little getaway
