The cabin is part of the Preserve Resort, located on a ridge in the quiet Wear Valley area. When you stay at True Love in the summer, you have free access to the resort’s outdoor pool. And year-round you can take advantage of its sauna, workout room, and spacious covered pavilion, which has a fireplace for chilly evenings and ceiling fans for hot afternoons.
While the views of the mountains from the Preserve Resort’s pavilion are awe-inspiring, the same is true of the scenery visible from True Love’s 2 covered decks. You can gaze out at the mountains while kicking back in a rocker or dining alfresco at the patio table—the fresh breeze rustling through the trees is the perfect background music. The best spot of all to revel in the surrounding natural beauty, though, may be from the upper deck’s hot tub. Treat yourself to at least one nighttime soak beneath the star-studded sky; it’s simply magical.
True Love’s many windows and vaulted ceiling ensure that you can admire the vistas even while inside the cabin. The sunlight flooding in also heightens the luster of the wood-planked floors and walls. Plush sofas and a large flat-panel TV add a dash of luxury to the rustic charm of the main floor’s great room. When you’re not watching TV or taking advantage of the free WiFi, you might want to play charades by the warm glow of the electric fireplace.
Or perhaps you’ll want to head upstairs to the game room. There you can choose between shooting pool at the full-size billiard table or challenging the others to foosball. The game room has its own flat-screen TV as well.
All the fun and games are bound to give everyone quite the appetite. Fortunately True Love’s kitchen is fully equipped with stainless-steel appliances, gadgets, cookware, tableware, and gleaming counters. If it’s barbecue you’re craving, step outside to the charcoal grill. And in addition to the table on the deck, there’s an indoor dining area that seats 6 with ease.
The master bedroom, which includes a king-size bed, a flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom, is located on the main floor. The upstairs sleeping area, however, is just as enchanting. Along with a four-poster queen-size bed, there’s a table for 2 that’s perfect for enjoying a romantic nightcap. The 2nd bathroom, adjacent to the sleeping area, features a jetted tub. After a day on the ski slopes or the hiking trails, you’ll really relish a lazy soak among its restorative jets.
A ladder in the game room leads upstairs to a cozy loft with a futon mattress that can sleep 2. And 2 more people can sleep in the great room, as one of the sofas converts into a queen-size bed.
Not only can you view the mountains from True Love, but you can easily explore them as well: The cabin is just 15 minutes from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The closest entrance is near Cades Cove, one of the park’s most popular areas, where you have a good chance of seeing black bears, coyotes, groundhogs, and other wildlife. Just slightly farther afield is the Pigeon Forge Parkway, the town’s main thoroughfare and home to the Titanic Museum, Dixie Stampede, scores of restaurants, and numerous other attractions.
With so much going for it, True Love just might be the site of your best vacation yet. But don’t take our word for it; experience it for yourself. Book your stay today!

The family loved the cabin. it was a great time for all. It was not located where I thought it was but still great. the only negative thing I have to say is the trash issue. We stated for days and the trash was never picked up. We had to take the containers out of the box to get all our trash so that the possibility of bears would not get it.Would recommend to others? No
Thank you for the review and mentioning that the property was great! The location of the property is in the high-end 'The Preserve' resort in Wears Valley (25 minutes from Pigeon Forge). Regarding the trash pickup, the development does not have scheduled service. However, as the arrival FAQ states, we do have on-demand trash pickup that will empty the two, 44-gallon exterior trash cans if requested. Thanks and come back soon!
Loved our Smokey Mountain Experience
The cabin was just as it appears in the pictures. Very clean, and well-stocked with anything you could need on your vacation. Pretty close proximity to all; however, expect to drive a bit. The views and serene community are more than a fair trade off.Would recommend to others? Yes
Thanks for the five-star review and mentioning how serene and special the property is! We enjoyed hosting you and look forward to having you back in the near future.
True Love stay
My husband and I rented this cabin for our anniversary. We both work overnights and we were disappointed that there were no blinds In the back of the house. We also had problems with the WiFi. We weren't able to connect to it while we were there. It is located in a resort, so the other cabins are very close to each other. The property has a spectacular view and the cabin is very clean. The decor is very nice as well. We did enjoy our stay but it was quite the getaway we expected.Would recommend to others? No
Thank you for the review and for your comments! I noticed that you ranked all of the individual (property management, services, location, cleaning) scores as five-star, but gave a three-star overall - was this on purpose? Thanks for mentioning how clean the property was and how spectacular the views are. Come back soon!
First trip to Smokys and stayed in True Love
The directions provided to us were excellent. We were able to drive right to it. The cabin has little extras to make it so homey. It was clean and the pictures were basically true to the cabin. The outside deck areas need a little work. While there, one of the spindles in the railing fell out to apparent dry rot. I could not get the wifi to work. I emailed and was promptly given some directions but we still could not get connected. It would have been helpful if the directions had included that the cabin was on Xfinity. It popped up eventually and asked if I was a customer. I responded no not realizing it was for this cabin. (The cabin is surrounded by cabins. Several options pop up. Occasionally I was able to use a non-secure connection but not ideal. )The tv channels were limited. A guide to what channels you can view would have been helpful. There are 100's of channels and we got maybe a dozen. It would have been nice to have a guide for the area. For example places to eat within so many miles, or a place to purchase groceries, the nearest hospital etc. Aslo, an overall map of the larger area would have been nice. It was our first time to the area and we basically had two solid days. It is a beautiful place and we were a little overwhelmed! The cabin is located in a place called The Preserve. It is beautiful there. We would gladly stay here again.Would recommend to others? Yes
