Description
As for the cabin itself, �delightful� is perhaps the best way to describe it. The great room, for instance, features a double-height wall of windows that lets you admire the lush woodlands outside even as you kick back on the sofa to watch TV or curl up in the armchair to surf the web via the free Wi-Fi. The sunlight streaming in shows off the wood-planked floors, walls and towering vaulted ceiling to perfection. And on cool winter nights, the stacked stone fireplace will warm up the room with a golden glow.
You can savor the views of the trees while savoring a meal at the log-style dining table, which seats six guests with room to spare. Sure, there are scores of restaurants nearby-Italian, barbecue, Mexican, Indian and of course, all-American comfort food. But especially after a day on the go, it can be more relaxing, and easier on the wallet, to eat in. Mountain Mist's dining area is so charming, you'll want to linger long after the meal is over. Bring your Monopoly board or Uno deck, and after the table's been cleared, segue from a fun-filled family meal to a laugh-filled family game night. Another after-dinner option: head to the upstairs game room for a round of pool at the full-size billiard table.
Mountain Mist's kitchen is equipped with all the appliances, cookware and tableware you need to prepare breakfast or any other meal. There's a grill outside as well, plus a kitchen island for extra counter space and a dishwasher to make cleaning up a cinch. And speaking of cleaning up, the cabin has its own washer and dryer. This might be the first time you return home from vacation with a suitcase full of clean clothes!
Each of Mountain Mist's two spacious bedrooms has a king-size bed and a full bathroom, which will make getting ready in the morning hassle-free. If you have additional guests, they can sleep in the great room on the sleeper sofa that sleeps two.
The primary suite is especially luxurious. Next to the flat-panel TV is a fireplace-just the thing to create a romantic ambiance. And the en-suite bathroom includes a jetted tub. No matter how tired your muscles are after a day of hiking, fishing or chasing the kids around Dollywood, a leisurely soak among the tub's massaging jets of water will rejuvenate them in no time.
You can also laze in the steamy bubbles of a hot tub out on the deck. The singing of chickadees in the morning and whip-poor-wills at night will make your soak even more relaxing. In addition to the hot tub, the deck has plenty of rocking chairs so that everyone can enjoy the fresh mountain breeze whispering through the trees. Only the guest named on the rental agreement may notify host either in written or verbal form of the request to cancel. Reservations are non-refundable if cancelled less than 45 days prior to arrival for 1-5 bedrooms, 90 days prior to arrival for 6-10 bedrooms and 180 days prior to arrival for 11+ bedrooms.
There are no refunds for bad weather, snow, no-shows, late arrival or early departure.

Unit Pet Policy
While this property is pet-friendly, the property charges an $80 + Tax fee per pet non-refundable fee at time of check-in. There is a limit of two pets at this property.
This rental is pet friendly but only for Domestic Dog, Cat, or Bird. Under no circumstances will a pit bull or any other aggressive breed be permitted.
To avoid confusion, Pit Bull is defined as:
American Staffordshire Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, American Pit Bull Terriers or any other dog that substantially conforms to any of these breeds characteristics. Enjoyed our stay at Mountain Mist
We had a wonderful two day stay at this cabin. It was tastefully decorated, clean and had all the conveniences of home. We had a few questions, which were answered quickly via e-mail. We wish we could have stayed longer. It was a little off "the beaten path", but fairly close to the main street in Pigeon Forge. We enjoyed our lunch at Paula Dean's! We definitely would go back!! Would love to take our kids and grandkids next time. We would recommend this property!!

Just Perfect
The cabin was perfect for the long weekend. We were warm and comfortable. It snowed during our stay (thank you for that), and the resort maintenance crew did an outstanding job of keeping the road cleared. The beds were comfy and we had plenty of blankets. The Christmas decorations were an added bonus. We couldn't figure out how to operate the TV, so written instructions might have been helpful. But who needs TV anyway!? You have a very nice place. Thanks for sharing.

Peaceful time
This cabin was just what we needed. Very quite and close to all the attractions. Great to get away from the hustle and bustle.

Great Cabin!
Enjoyed our stay. We were in town for the Ripken Baseball experience and it's just a few easy minutes from the ball park. It was well kept clean and nicely decorated . It's also bigger than it looks in the pictures. There are neighbors on both sides but it feels very private and you can't see them from the back deck. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Thanks!

Mountain Mist Cabin heaven on earth!!
Myself, my husband and my mother rented the cabin Mountain Mist located in Pigeon Forge for 4 days in September-2015. We throughly enjoyed our stay-The cabin was as described, it has been decorated beautifully, had a wonderful view with comfortable rocking chairs to sit in to enjoy it and was only a 5 minute drive to all the action that is Pigeon Forge.The cabin had a few dings and signs of usage but to us this only made us feel more at home. Who lives in a perfect house? We sure don't. Will definitely reserve and stay here in the future and can't really seriously complain about anything with the location, the cabin or the furnishings.

Very nice Cabin
Renting was easy. We decided to rent a cabin at last minute. I received a quick response and booking online was easy. We got to the cabin around 9 that night. It was a beautiful cabin and very comfortable for our family of 4. We over slept a little bit, and Smokey Mountains was very helpful and understanding for a later check out. Easy to work with and Customer service at its best. Will rent this cabin again and can't wait to do so. Hoping to be able to stay longer and relax more at the cabin next time. Very close to Dollywood, which will be awesome for when we come back!
