The Bottom Line:

The 9.3 mile Silers Bald hike follows the Applachian trail along the knife-edge ridgeline of the Smoky Mountains. The trail features unbeatable views, spruce forests, seasonal wildflowers, and a great summit hike. This aerobically challenging trail will not disappoint and is less crowded than the Mount LeConte trails.
