Three of the 8 bedrooms—one on each floor—include a king-size bed. One of these bedrooms, on the lower level, also features a sofa that opens into a queen-size bed, making the room well suited for any parents in your group traveling with little ones. Another 3 bedrooms, all located on the top floor, have queen-size beds. Of the remaining bedrooms, both downstairs, one has queen-size bunk beds to accommodate up to 4 people—again, a great choice for parents with young children. And the last bedroom has a pair of queen-size bunk beds so that as many as 8 people can sleep here. You can put a gaggle of kids together here: They’ll feel as if they’re at a sleep-away camp—albeit a sleep-away camp that has a flat-screen TV. In fact, every bedroom in Hidden Springs Lodge has its own TV. Need more beds? Two of the lodge’s sofas convert to queen-size beds.
Each of the 3 floors has a large common room so that you can relax together and enjoy each other’s company. Downstairs is home to a spacious game room. Its range of offerings ensures you’ll never be bored. In addition to a flat-screen TV and sofas tailor-made for lounging, it includes a full-size pool table, a multi-game arcade, a Big Buck HD 2-player shooting game, and a SuperCars 2-person racing game.
In case that’s not enough to keep everyone occupied, there’s the upstairs media room. That’s where you’ll find the air-hockey table, as well as a large flat-screen TV and the plushest, most comfortable chairs and sofa you’ve ever sunk into. You might want to head upstairs and laze on the media room’s seating even when you’re not watching a movie or the big game.
The main floor is home to the great room, which has its own comfortable leather sofas for kicking back. There’s also a table so that you can play Monopoly, rummy, or whichever other games you’ve brought along. The stone-surround fireplace makes this space especially welcoming in winter.
Just as welcoming year-round is the hot tub on Hidden Springs Lodge’s spacious deck. After a day spent hiking, skiing, or exploring every store at the nearby outlet mall, there’s nothing like luxuriating among steamy jets of water as you listen to the mountain breeze whisper among the trees. You’ll find plenty of rockers on the decks as well, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or evening cocktail.
The dining area can seat up to 20 people at a time, at 2 long tables and an adjacent breakfast bar. The large open kitchen is equipped with appliances, gadgets, cookware, and tableware galore. As a bonus, there’s also a charcoal grill outside.
Hidden Springs Lodge is located in the gated Hidden Springs Resort, which offers several benefits. Among them is the indoor swimming pool, to which you’ll have free access. Another benefit is the resort’s proximity to just about everything the area has to offer. It’s less than 10 minutes from Dollywood, Dollywood’s Splash Country, and Parrot Mountain and Garden, to name just a few of Pigeon Forge’s most popular attractions. Drive for a few minutes more, and you can be at the Titanic Museum, Gatlinburg Golf Course, go-karting, dinner theaters, and more.
You’ll find it tough—if not impossible—to find a lodge for your next group getaway that’s as convenient and full-out fun as Hidden Springs Lodge. So book it today—before someone else beats you to it!
