The exterior of the 1-story cabin looks like something out of a picture book, from the rear deck that stretches the width of the home to the window shutters with their heart-shape cutouts. In addition to a swing—so romantic on a starry night!—the deck includes a large bench and an equally spacious hot tub. There’s no better way to soak up the sights and sounds of the lush woodlands that surround Romancing the Stars than while literally soaking among steamy, bubbling water.
The inside of Romancing the Stars is just as inviting. The wood-planked walls and floor are especially lustrous in the glow of the stone-surround fireplace. Whether you’re stretched out on the couch watching a movie on the large flat-panel TV or curled up in the armchair with a book, you’ll feel wonderfully at ease.
The log-style dining table, perfectly situated by the fireplace, seats 4. The gleaming stainless-steel appliances of the kitchen offer a thoroughly modern complement to the rustic refinement of the cabin as a whole. Fully equipped with everything from a refrigerator/freezer with ice maker to a coffeemaker, not to mention pots, pans, and tableware, the kitchen has just about everything you need to create a gourmet feast; all you have to supply are food and an appetite. The dishwasher will make cleanup a breeze. And speaking of conveniences, Romancing the Stars has its own washer and dryer as well.
Just off the sleeping area you’ll find an arcade table and, for entertainment of a different sort, the heart-shape jetted tub. It’s large enough for 2, so after a day of hiking, skiing, or white-water rafting, you can both pamper your weary muscles at the same time. Afterward you can sprawl out on the king-size bed and watch TV or listen to the owls in the woods beneath the soothing whir of the ceiling fan. If you’re vacationing with friends or the kids, they can sleep on the living area sofa, which opens into a queen-size bed.
Comfortable and serene, Romancing the Stars is tailor-made for rest, relaxation, and of course, romance. At the same time, its idyllic location makes it easy for you to get to the numerous local attractions. The cabin is less than 10 minutes from the Pigeon Forge Parkway, the town’s main thoroughfare and home to the Titanic Museum, the WonderWorks educational amusement park, the huge Tanger outlet mall, dinner theaters, restaurants, go karts, and more. Less than 15 minutes from the cabin are 2 of Pigeon Forge’s most highly rated attractions: Dollywood and Parrot Mountains and Gardens. Even closer is the Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community, an 8-mile trail of more than 120 galleries, studios, and shops offering everything from watercolors to woodworks. And in just 20 minutes you can be exploring the waterfalls, wildflowers, and wildlife of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park or the attractions of downtown Gatlinburg, which include the Guinness World Records Adventure and Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies.
When you stay at Romancing the Stars, you can make your vacation as action-packed or as laid-back as you want. First, though, you need to make your reservation, before someone else beats you to it! So book your stay today; we’re looking forward to seeing you.
