Our 1st trip up in 8 years due to an ill husband, I decided to splurge to have more privacy. It sounds private because it's described that way but the house is the acre, you'll be making eye contact with people all week. Excess trash & glass outside. This thing was so dirty I was owed my $200 back for paying them to clean it. Under the living room table & couches: a spilled Coke 2 liter, 3 empty plastic water bottles matching the pit trash. Ice cream on the table. Filthy dishes in the cabinet. The roof leaked on my luggage the first night. We shut our curtains to realize why they're left open. They're ripped. Dishwasher doesn't latch.Mold in pool room & door knob falls off upon exit. Everything was staged to look okay until you touched it, from the pool chairs to the curtains. I now know how those with a little more to spend live. Apparently they are taken advantage of and expected to ignore it. Goldfish under beds.I reasoned it the whole trip but by the last day, as everyone but myself vomited and my 6 hour trip became fourteen, I was livid. The last 8 years have been ****, and we finally go, and get the most ghetto cabin ever. I've reserved through aunt bugs for every trip. No more, man. As far as I'm concert they owe me my cleaning fee. Because they didn't clean a **** thing.Did we have fun? Absolutely. We have fun anywhere. I usually don't spend that much to clean vomit. Movie room looks cool but guess what only 1 speaker is connected. Staged again. Don't look under the movie chairs. There's popcorn under there from when Rick James' era. I'm embarrassed by the lack of care. I'd suggest aunt bugs check on their cabins because the staff ain't. I feel bad saying that because I found the caretaker to be so kind. But this was right near insane. Lazy, & impacts folks, not a day off in so long and just want to reconnect with their family. I feel robbed. I can't get that time back. You suck, man.
