Crap. First of all they say \"gorgeous view\". False. It might have been a gorgeous view of a part of one mountain and the town and traffic going through. As the famous comedic quote goes, \"I thought the Rockies would be a bit rockier.\" This had a poor view. I had 7 of my friends from school meet up for a reunion so they said it sleeps 11 people with 2 king beds, 1 queen, and 2 sofa sleepers. There was not a single king or queen bed in there. Instead, it was 3 full beds and 2 sofa sleepers. To make matters worse, they insulted my intelligence by having a technician come over to verify that a king wasn\'t in there. I know what a king size bed is vs a full size bed. The hot tub was dirty as hell and I only hope that none of my friends got any infections from it. The hot tub cover was disgusting. They also took many pictures of the cabin from many different angles to make you think that it was big. False again. They got me good. Then when we got there, the internet wasn\'t working and they said it had been down recently and they were not responsible for it being down. I told them I understand, but I would have liked if they would have deducted it from my bill. They were NOT going to do that. More of like a \"tough shit\" sorry kind of excuse. Crap management based off of deception and false promises. Would not go to them again.

And Misty Mountain Hideaway has even more going for it than a convenient, restful locale. The 2-story cabin is an outstanding combination of comfort and rustic charm, with spectacular views of the Smoky Mountains tossed into the mix.
The main floor’s huge wraparound deck is ideal for admiring the views, savoring the fresh mountain air, and listening to the birds singing in the sunshine. Sip your morning juice or coffee on one of the deck’s rockers; enjoy a meal at the outdoor dining table; stargaze late at night from the deck swing. And any time of day or night is perfect for luxuriating in the deck’s hot tub, though it’s especially restorative after a day spent hiking, rafting, biking, or fishing.
The cabin’s interior is just as relaxing and welcoming as its deck, with wood-planked floors, walls, and ceilings, comfortable furnishings, and plenty of windows to bring the outdoors in. There’s loads of seating in the living area for everyone to gather together to watch the big game on the flat-panel TV or play Pictionary. In winter the stone-surround fireplace, located between the living and dining areas, will make the space even more charming than it already is.
As well as being near attractions, Misty Mountain Hideaway is close to markets—a good thing, because once you see the large, fabulously equipped kitchen, you’ll want to cook at least some of your meals here rather than dine out all the time. Stainless-steel appliances, cookware, tableware, plenty of counter space, a dishwasher to make cleanup a snap: The kitchen has it all.
After dinner—or any other time, really—you can head upstairs to the game room to challenge the others to foosball or to sit down at the table to play rummy or Monopoly. The upstairs is also home to the master suite, which is a haven unto itself. The elegance of the furnishings—four-poster king-size bed, upholstered chaise, luxe curtains—complements the rustic refinement of the beamed ceiling and planked walls. In addition to a flat-panel TV, the room has a truly pampering jetted tub as well as a private bathroom.
The other 2 bedrooms are on the main floor. One is furnished with a king-size bed, the other a queen. Each has its own flat-panel TV and is decorated in the same serene, inviting style as the rest of Misty Mountain Hideaway. These bedrooms share the cabin’s 2nd full bathroom.
Have additional guests? The game room’s sofa opens into a queen-size bed, as does the living room sofa. And for good measure, the settee converts into a single bed, so that Misty Mountain Hideaway can sleep 11 people in all.
Among the cabin’s other amenities are free WiFi, a charcoal grill, and a washer and dryer (for once you can return home from vacation with a suitcase full of clean clothes!). And in the summer, you’ll have free access to Covered Bridge Resort’s heated swimming pool.
Gorgeous views, a restful location that’s also close to the area’s attractions, amenities ranging from a hot tub to a fully equipped kitchen: Misty Mountain Hideaway has everything you need to enjoy your best vacation yet. Book your stay today; we can’t wait to see you!
