Aged furniture clean nice location
door lock code was sent only 4 hours before check in time to email. No on site staff as promised on Expedia website. Had to get help with other resident to hold on wi-fi checking email to get in the door. Big scare. Please consider foreign visitor that has no data and cell phone locally. Please make sure info sent 24 hours ahead of check in time. Furniture was pretty old and the mattress needs replacement as well as the sofa bed. poor supports and noisy. But the property is well maintained and very clean, in a very good location in town. Saw bears in the morning and night around the building as good surprises.Would recommend to others? Yes
Nice place and location
This is a nice unit in general. Older building but pretty well kept and clean. The pool was empty when we arrived but was filled the next day - cold water. The office was closed the entire time we were there. Cute "bear" theme decor. Furniture is a bit worn but adequate. Only complaints are that the patio screen door was broken and one of the stove burners didn't work. Also, the shower handle is very hard to pull and the bath fan is loud. Otherwise, a comfortable place with a king bed. About 1/2 mile walk to downtown (65 steps to get to the bottom of the hill). We spent most of our time in the Smokies exploring and not a lot of time in the unit or downtown as it is geared more for young families. The Sugarlands Visitor Center is only a couple miles away - loved the mountains!Would recommend to others? Yes
Very surprised and very disappointed
My wife and I have stayed here several times over the years. In fact, it's one of our favorite places to stay. However, this time we were sorely disappointed. The stove did not work correctly, the dishes were dirty (dried coffee in the cups, the screen door did not work correctly, the TV's did not get a signal half the time, the shower faucet was very stiff, the water pressure was awful and the office was not open the whole week, no one was there on the property). In the past the woman who works in the office has always been helpful, friendly and great. However, whoever I spoke to on the phone while we were there was not very friendly or helpful. There were other renters there like ourselves having very similar problems. I do not know if they are managing multiple properties and they have too much to do? However, as my family has a rental business (over 50 years) we would have never managed our properties like this. If we had? We would have been out of business years ago.Would recommend to others? No

Great stay in a clean room with good view.
Wonderful stay with a great view great walk to town. Third time staying and will again in the future. Quiet place and good staffWould recommend to others? Yes
The rental was quiet and satisfactory. The highlight of our stay was the National Park. Everything in Gatlinburg was very crowded. Very few people were wearing masks.Would recommend to others? Yes
We arrived early, and called the number to have access early. And no response. No call back ever our entire stay! Our 4 digit code would not work to get in our room, but we used the checkout code while staying and it worked. The room itself was very outdated with worn out furniture. The walk to downtown was a lot longer then 10 minutes. And it was extremely difficult for my disabled veteran husband to make it back up. There were no instructions on checkout, other then time. We’re we supposed to strip beds? What about towels? Do we take the trash out? Etc.... I will definitely not be staying here again or would I recommend to anyone else. Very disappointed especially with no communication. That was totally uncalled for.Would recommend to others? No
