Tennessee Sunshine, a condo that can sleep up to 6 people, is located in the appropriately named Summit of Gatlinburg resort. As you step out onto your condo’s balcony and gaze out at the mountain peaks, you’ll feel as if you could reach up and touch the clouds. Despite seeming far removed from downtown Gatlinburg, however, you’re less than 15 minutes away.
Tennessee Sunshine’s balcony is furnished with chairs so that you can revel in the stunning views and the fresh mountain breezes. Sip your morning coffee outside and watch the mist rise from the mountains; later, linger over a late-night drink while pointing out the constellations. On evenings when it’s too chilly to step outside, you can relish the view from the condo’s living area. There’s even a wood-burning fireplace to add to the cozy ambience. Whether you’re sprawled out on the sofa watching a movie on the flat-screen TV with cable, kicking back on the cushioned glider surfing the web via the free WiFi, or playing Uno with the kids at the dining table, you’ll feel blissfully at home.
The bedroom makes up Tennessee Sunshine’s loft. As comfortable as it is charming, it includes a queen-size bed, a 2nd flat-screen TV, and ample storage. Sweet dreams really are made of this! The queen-size daybed on the main level, tucked below a window looking onto the Smokies, can sleep 2 more people. And the plush sofa opens into yet another queen-size bed.
One of the greatest advantages of staying in a condo rather than a hotel is being able to cook your own meals, brew coffee, or mix a batch of margaritas whenever you want. Tennessee Sunshine’s kitchen is equipped with all the appliances, cookware, and tableware you could possibly need; the only things you have to supply are food and an appetite. Of course, if you’d rather eat all your meals out, you can do that too. Restaurants serving everything from barbecue to fondue are just a few minutes away.
No matter what time of year you’re visiting, be sure to bring your swimsuit. The Summit of Gatlinburg has indoor and outdoor swimming pools. The indoor pool area also includes hot tubs to pamper your weary muscles after a day on the slopes or the hiking trails. What’s more, the complex has a barbecue area, where you can grill any trout you reel in from the local streams… or steaks you buy from a local supermarket.
As we mentioned, Tennessee Sunshine is less than 15 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg, home to Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, the Guinness World Records Adventure, Sweet Fanny Adams Theatre, distilleries, mountain coasters and other thrill rides, mini golf, arcades, and much more. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is just as close. So is Ober Gatlinburg Amusement Park and Ski Area, which offers skiing and snow tubing in winter and ice-skating, amusement rides, and an animal attraction year-round. (If you do visit us in winter, a vehicle with 4-wheel drive or tire chains is strongly advised.)
Convenience, comfort, and glorious mountain views: Tennessee Sunshine has it all. Book your stay today; we look forward to seeing you!
