Everything We Wanted

The cabin was beautiful, the location was great, and we were visited by a (very pleasant) family of bears on our last night. Overall one of the best cabins we've stayed in while visiting the smokies.

Family Spring Break Escape

Our Take a Break cabin was beautiful! Well equipped, comfortable, plenty of space for our family of college students. Location was perfect to get to Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg as well as the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Views from the cabin were just what we were looking for. Quiet neighborhood, used the hot tub and fire pit every day. Loved the free tickets to the attractions although we didn’t use very many. We did have a maintenance problem that could have been handled more efficiently but overall the stay was great.

Take A Break Review

Amazing home with amazing views!! Everything was perfect. Ride up to the cabin was very hilly and steep but it was so worth it!

A Snowy Break!

We had a wonderful vacation at this cabin! The house has an Amazing view and we had room for everyone. Loved that all the rooms were on one level! The snow/ice made the roads a little scary and you will need 4 wheel drive with all wheel tires but the resident above us let us borrow her snow shovel and salt which helped out! Would recommend this cabin and we will be back!

Big Bear Sighting

Awesome house with really great views.
Our visit from the black bear that had to weigh 500-600 lbs. was very exciting. He just ambled by the back steps, looked up at us on the back deck then went on his merry way.
The bedrooms are very big, nice bathrooms and a wonderful kitchen.
The house could use a few more soft items to tone down the noise levels.
The furnishings were incredible inside and out and the fire pit was a fun place to hang out and enjoy a fire and a drink (or two)
