Hibernation Station Review

Cabin was just the right size for a family of four. Cabin was clean but had issues. The WiFi password did not work so we had no internet. The water heater or ac unit on 1st floor was extremely loud and it was adjacent to the master bedroom. The hot tub jets would not turn off which was a safety hazard. We were made aware of bears in the area but I did not expect to have them on the front porch.

Hibernation station

We had a great time in the cabin. The cabin was very cold and the heat didn't work well. Also the hot tub was broken. Five stars otherwise!

The Jacuzzi in the master bedroom cannot be filled with hot water. just cold water

All in all the Gatlinburg experience has been amazing. But this cabin had two drawbacks that hindered the experience a bit: 1. the first night in the master bed room, the bed and sheets were full of animal hair and smelled like animals, until the next day someone came to change them. 2. My wife and I came with the illusion of being inside the hot jacuzzi of the master bed room and the capacity of the heater is NOT capable of heating the water for the jacuzzi, you have a jacuzzi but cold water and if you are in winter it is not you're going to want to use. It wasn't bad at all but it could have been a lot better :(

Not good! Arrived and couldn't get the door code on the app that your prompted to use. After calling and getting the code, we get inside and were hit with a God awful smell throughout the entire cabin. Room door rubs on the floor and barely opened, the hot tub didn't work until we flipped the tripped breaker finding out that when running the jets on high that it would trip the breaker. The hot tub was uncovered and dirty, cold, and so full that when 2 people got in it overflowed causing an electrical shortage again tripping the breaker. The downstairs jacuzzi tub was nice but the hot water heater wasn't big enough to allow for a hot bath by time is was full enough to run the jets. Overall it was a nice cabin but poorly maintained.
