Spacious and great views

Overall, we had a positive experience. Plenty of room for our large group of 11. Bathrooms for each bedroom is great! The view was wonderful and multiple bear sightings. Be sure to lock your car doors because the bears can open them! The house is close to Gatlinburg, but it does take at least 30-45 minutes to get to attractions and to trails at the national park. Would be nice for kids if there was a pool - and there is one near, but apparently that is not part of Aunt Bug's or this rental. We did ask Aunt Bug's about an association pool and they said there was one we could drive to. It was 45 minutes away so we chose not to do that. We also had problems with the wireless router at the house. Maintenance came to try to fix, but I believe they needed to call the owners for the username and password for the router. This issue was never resolved so we couldn't access the internet from the home to find directions, look up attractions or even do some work (which some of us had to do on vacation). We just accepted we had no internet and enjoyed the atmosphere. Pool table and hot tub are a plus. Overall, we recommend

Cabin and accommodations were awesome. Only issue we had were 3 propane tanks on the deck empty, none to be had for the gas grill, which we brought food to cook on it. Made do with what we had, but for the money we paid, we expected to be able to use the grill

"Eh" Is what I would use to describe this Rental.

I rented this cabin for a group of 18 young adults. When I first arrived I walked through the house and saw many, many, many dead bugs. Maybe it's just the season for them? I am not sure. When we opened up the pull out couch on the third floor, there was a belt and socks from a previous guest I assume. I was a little confused that there was so much we needed to tidy up, considering I was told the cleaning crew was in the cabin just hours before. Most cabin rentals, AirBnB's or VRBO's have a nice book waiting for the guests. It may contain recommended restaurants nearby, instructions for when you leave the rental, and WIFI information. There was none of that information waiting for us. One thing I was pleased with was the quick response time for the "After Hours" phone line. We called with two issues the first night and they very quickly came back with a resolution to our problems. I am not sure that there were many positive reasons to book this cabin again.

Unhappy Guest

Not what we expected for the cost. Upon check in we had to sweep up the dead bugs and wipe down all the tables. The Heat and AC was locked and we had to call and have the AC turned on. The After Hours contact number given went to voice mail so we had to spend the first night with no AC. Why have an emergency number if no one answers?
