This Smoky Mountain 3-level cabin retreat is well-suited for couples vacationing together or for families. Each level has its own master suite so you can be together during the day and enjoy privacy at night. All 3 bedrooms have a king-sized bed, a TV with DVD player, and a full bathroom. In addition, the sofa on the main floor and the sectional on the lower level pull out to queen-size beds for extra sleeping capacity. With three levels, you are sure to find the family space you are looking for.

There is plenty to do at the cabin. Challenge yourself and others to a game on the 1162-classic game cocktail arcade. Or relax on the huge sectional sofa in the lower level’s game room and watch a movie or football game on the 75” flat-panel TV. Enjoy premium cable channels and the ability to stream Netflix, Prime, Hulu and Pandora. Tracking two football games at once? No problem – a second 36” flat-screen TV situated by the pool table is also at your perusal. Both the game room and the main floor living room are equipped with a Blu-ray and a sound bar for premium acoustics. With the full-size pool table, everyone can relish in the fun. Two gas fireplaces and surfing the web on the free Wi-Fi round out the comfort amenities.

The kitchen, located on the main floor, is well-appointed whether you are fixing snacks for the game or preparing a holiday meal. The open layout allows you to keep up with a game on TV while the conversing at the dining table or prepping food in the kitchen. From a Keurig to a charcoal grill, you are sure to find what you need.

In Bear Essentials’ loft level, you will find the third master suite. This suite's bathroom is set apart and includes a jetted tub. A long soak is a perfect way to cap off a day of adventures.

Looking for some fresh air? With two great decks equipped with rockers and porch swings, you are sure to find your space. Soak in the outdoor hot tub or enjoy a meal at the picnic table. Grab a rocker, sit back and enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. Listen to the rustle of the breeze in the trees as you breathe in the Mountains.

Staying at The Bear Essentials in the summer? You are in luck - the cabin is part of the Black Bear Falls community, so you will have access to the heated adult and kids’ pools and the lovely poolside patio.

A gateway to The Great Smoky Mountains isn’t far from your stay at The Bear Essentials. Venture into Townsend, the peaceful side of the Smokies, to browse the quaint shops, galleries and antique stores. Pack up lunch and visit Metcalf Bottoms picnic area to begin your explorations into the Smokies. Hiking trails are easily accessible to stretch your legs from the picnic area or head out to trout fish in one of the many cool water streams and rivers.

Ramble over to Pigeon Forge and Sevierville to continue your adventures with a stop at the Titanic Museum Attraction and receive your boarding pass to a voyage of discovery then grab some nourishment at Mama’s Farmhouse, with all you can eat family style meals. Catch a whimsical show at Country Tonite full of singing, dancing, patriotism and comedy and end the evening at The Island at Pigeon Forge and ride the Great Smoky Mountain Wheel which lights up with over 1 million LED lights.

The charming village setting of Gatlinburg offers a wide variety of exciting festivals throughout the year. Tour the Great Smoky Arts and Crafts Trail, an 8-mile loop containing the largest gathering of independent artists in the country. Feel as though you are submerged in the ocean with a visit to Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies underwater tunnel, play a game of mini-golf at Circus Golf…in 3D for 18 challenging holes in black light. Catch the old Smoky Mountain atmosphere with a stop at Ole Smokey Moonshine Distillery to experience the sights, smells and tastes of the moonshining culture.

For properties with 1 to 3 bedrooms

If a cancellation request is received at least 30 days prior to the scheduled checkin date, a full refund minus the Reservation Fee will be processed.

If a cancellation request is received between 15 and 29 days prior to the scheduled checkin date, the deposit shall be nonrefundable.

If a cancellation request is received fewer than 15 days prior to the scheduled checkin date, there will be no refund.

For properties with 4 or more bedrooms

If a cancellation request is received at least 60 days prior to the scheduled checkin date, a full refund minus the Reservation Fee will be processed.

If a cancellation request is received between 30 and 59 days prior to the scheduled checkin date, the deposit shall be nonrefundable.

If a cancellation request is received fewer than 30 days prior to the scheduled checkin date, there will be no refund.
