Description

Puppies Hollow is as charming as its name. Though it appears cozy from the outside, it has been completely renovated and includes two bedrooms, a living area with a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen and even a washer and a dryer. You're going to love it here.

A classic roundette, Puppies Hollow has a circular layout with an open living areas. One advantage to this is that everyone can spend time together while doing his or her own thing. When you're watching a movie on the living area's Smart TV with cable and surround sound, someone else can be at the dining table surfing the web via the free Wi-Fi or cooking in the kitchen. And no matter where you are, you'll be able to bask in the golden glow of the stone-surround fireplace.

Puppies Hollow is close to numerous restaurants, serving everything from seafood to barbecue to pizza. One of the major advantages of staying in a cabin, however, is being able to cook your own meals or whip up a snack whenever you want. The kitchen is equipped with just about every appliance you could want, from a refrigerator and an oven/stove to a blender and a coffeemaker-and of course, a dishwasher. There's a full array of cookware and tableware too.

The dining table seats four with room to spare. When the weather's right, however, you'll probably want to dine outside on the deck, which is furnished with tables and chairs. Larks and chickadees provide an idyllic soundtrack, and the fresh mountain breeze makes even the simplest meal seem like a feast. You can cook out on the deck as well, courtesy of the charcoal grill. If you reel in trout or bass from one of the local streams, grill it out here for a true taste of the Smokies. After the kids are asleep, you and your sweetheart can head outside for a nightcap in the silvery moonlight-so romantic.

When it's time to turn in, you can sprawl out on the primary bedroom's king-size bed and watch your favorite late-night shows on the room's TV. First, though, you might want to pamper yourself in the bedroom's jetted tub. Especially after a day on the go, a leisurely soak among the massaging jets of water will feel so rejuvenating.

The second bedroom includes a full-size bed, and there is room for the four-legged friends as well.

The cabin has both a full bathroom and a convenient half-bathroom. The latter includes a stacked washer and dryer, so you can pack especially light. When you arrive at Puppies Hollow, you'll find the beds beautifully made up, plenty of towels for bathrooms and extra bedding ready and waiting.

Puppies Hollow is located in the Condo Villas community. In the summer you'll have free access to its swimming pool. And year-round you can take advantage of the community's proximity to the myriad area attractions. The Great Smoky Arts and Crafts Community, an eight-mile trail of more than 120 studios, shops and galleries, is less than 10 minutes away. Just as close is downtown Gatlinburg, home to the Guinness World Records Adventure, Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies, thrill rides, distilleries, restaurants, arcades, mini golf, shops and more. In 15 minutes, you can drive to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park or to Ober Gatlinburg Amusement Park and Ski Area, where you can ski and snow tube in winter and ice-skate, visit the animal attraction and enjoy rides year-round. If you're visiting in winter, you'll want a vehicle with four-wheel drive or tire chains. It can get snowy and icy here in the mountains.

Great stay for the pay!

Cabin was very clean and everything worked as it should. We enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone looking for a place in Gatlinburg. Very close to downtown Gatlinburg.

Location! Location!

The cabin was down in a hole. Absolutely no view. The porch was not covered so you couldn't set out and enjoy a soothing rain fall. The area was great and every other cabin had a view and a hot tub under a covered porch. On our last night our door code did not work. It was raining and it took 20 min to get someone on the phone to give us a new code. The very small yard area was dug up ( they were replacing the water line) so it was a mess. The cabin itself was very nice. Clean and nicely stocked with necessities. Very impressed with Gatlinburg and Pigion Forge

A good stay

The cabin was very nice and clean. It was obviously very recently refurbished. We enjoyed the extra outbuilding (game room). The property could use a few extras like lamps, chairs, and mirrors in the bathroom that would make stays in this property a bit more comfortable. I know, however, that these things are likely to come since work has just taken place at the property. The only problems that we had were with the AC in the game room and the TVs. The AC in the game room leaked into the floor so we would turn it off when we left and turn it on when we returned and put a towel under it to catch any water. The TVs also had no cable or satellite. There was internet access so luckily we were able to access Netflix. I would also recommend getting enough pillows afor each sleeping arrangement to have at least one pillow. Overall we had a wonderful stay and the property was wonderful.

Bear

Finally saw a bear, about 2 yo. It was so cute. It walked up to my truck while I was sitting in truck on driveway. He never noticed me, my windows were down. He was looking for food but couldn't smell anything good so he left. Awesome.

Okay stay

Pros: The cabin was a good size for our family, had all of the amenities we needed, including linens and kitchen utensils. Cons: The pool was being reconstructed, so not open at all. This was one of the key criteria we had, so disappointing that they advertised this as having a pool. The carpet was absolutely filthy. Spilled some water and as I cleaned it the cloth became dark brown. They probably should just remove them for a pet friendly cabin.

Spacious Pet friendly cabin

Good size bright cabin with nice fireplace and gate secured entrance deck. Bathroom with tub/shower was small however. Pest management needed attention. Mattress needs to be replaced in master.
