Description

Surrounded by towering trees, Cabin of Dreams feels wonderfully removed from the every day and close to nature's grandeur. At the same time, the three bedroom log cabin is just 15 minutes from the attractions of downtown Gatlinburg. When you stay here, you get to enjoy the best of all worlds.

Cabin of Dreams' wraparound deck and spacious balcony makes it easy for you to revel in the beautiful setting. When you're not kicking back on one of the numerous rockers, you can luxuriate in the deck's hot tub. While a soak is a treat any time of day, it's especially magical at night, in the silvery moonlight. What's more, the cabin has a picnic table and a charcoal grill, so you can cook and dine alfresco. After all, when the setting is this glorious, you want to make the most of it.

Of course, you can cook and dine inside as well. The main floor's great room includes a dining area that seats six guests with ease-no jostling of elbows and knees here! The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances, cookware and tableware. The only supplies needed are food and an appetite. Even if you eat your main meals at the numerous nearby restaurants, you're sure to appreciate the convenience of having a coffeemaker for brewing that all-important first cup of the morning and a blender for whipping up milkshakes or margaritas. Because of the open floor plan, when you're cooking in the kitchen, you can keep up with the dinner table conversation or watch a movie on the living area's TV. And wherever you are in the great room, you'll be able to feel the warmth of the stone-surround fireplace.

Cabin of Dreams' game room is another great space for hanging out. When you're not shooting pool at the billiard table, you can take a turn at the foosball table-or you can climb up onto a stool and watch the proceedings while the others play. There's a den as well, with a flat-screen TV and a leather sofa that invites you to stretch out and nap beneath the whirr of the ceiling fan.

All three bedrooms are restful to havens, with log-style furniture and lustrous wood-planked walls, floors and ceilings. Each bedroom includes a DVD player with its flat-screen TV. Two of the bedrooms feature a queen-size bed. The primary suite has a sumptuous king-size bed, a private bathroom, and perhaps best of all, its own jetted tub. After a day of hiking, skiing or shopping, your weary muscles will relish a long soak among the massaging jets of water.

Other amenities of the home include a washer and a dryer. We'll provide more than enough clean towels for both bathrooms, and the beds will be impeccably made up before you arrive. All that's left for you to do is have fun!

And thanks to Cabin of Dreams' wonderful location, having fun is a cinch. You can drive to downtown Gatlinburg in less than 15 minutes. Once there, visit Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies, the Anakeesta outdoor entertainment complex, the Guinness World Records Adventure, arcades, shops, restaurants and more. Just as close is the Great Smoky Arts and Crafts Community, an eight-mile trail of more than 120 shops, galleries and studios. Only 20 minutes away is the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, which you can explore on foot, on bike, on horseback or by car. Or you can head in the opposite direction to Pigeon Forge, home of Dollywood, the Titanic Museum, dinner theaters and more.

At Cabin of Dreams, you'll be making memories that will last a lifetime. Make your dream vacation a reality. Book your stay today.

Amazing stay! Very homey

This property met all our needs from location to the toiletries included in our stay. We were able to make home cooked meals without having to worry about not having the utensils/pots/pans needed to cook. Overall amazing stay and would highly recommend.

Great

The stay was great. I would have liked for the guest to have more towels and wash clothes provided instead of having to wash everyday just to get fresh towels and washcloths.

Not quite a dream

Unusual setup of cabin. Kitchen is on second floor, which makes it difficult to bring in groceries after already walking several sets of stairs to get into the cabin. One bedroom on each of the three floors. TV on first floor did not work. Couch on first floor very dated and in poor condition. Luckily we did not need to use the pullout as I can not believe it would be comfortable. Two burners on stove not working. Hot tub needs some work. Washing machine quit working the night before departure. The best thing about the cabin was its location. Three ponds for fishing. If you enjoy fishing, great spot to be. Do not expect mountain views as it is at base. We had fun, and enjoyed our stay, but this cabin needs some updates.

Reality not illustrated

Needs maintenance upkeep. Chairs, microwave, toilets, pool table is warped, foosball table broken. Picnic table was broken and useless. No maintain views as depicted in illustration.

Try another company

The pricing per night doesn't include the fees and taxes that you pay which are as much as your night base cost. We showed up on night one, there was a gas leak somewhere on the property. We got moved from this property to another one which was not comparable to the one we left. We were offered a $150 reimbursement for a rental fee of $1100 for my three days, Fees and taxes totaled about $500 which was not disclosed until checking out.
