"Almost Heaven " # 205 is a beautiful 2 Bedroom, all wood cabin tucked away in the Great Smoky Mountains. This cabin is not only semi private and surrounded by nature, it offers amazing views of the mountains year-round. This beautifully decorated cabin offers all the amenities you could ask for in your very own Smoky Mountain home away from home. Located in Sky Harbor, between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, this property is conveniently close to both areas and would be approximately a 15-minute drive to either. This property offers paved roads all the way up to the cabin, but steep inclines and curves do not make this cabin motorcycle or trailer friendly, a 4-wheel drive may be needed in inclement weather. Available parking for 2 + vehicles. This 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath cabin that sleeps up to 8 is 2 levels. There are 20 steps to reach the main level. Here you will find a fully equipped kitchen with dining for 6 and bar seating for 2, and a living area with a Brand New (8/2023) Queen sofa sleeper, gas burning fireplace, recliner, rocker, and flat screen TV. There is also a King bed with a Jetted Tub tub, flat screen TV, and a private bath with a walk-in shower. The washer & dryer are also located on the main level. The main level wrap-around porch holds the relaxing hot tub, and patio furniture, and offers both beautiful views surrounded by nature, as well as mountain views. In the upstairs open loft area, there are 2 arcade games, a Foosball table, and Twin bunk beds. There is also a private King bedroom with a shared bath with a shower/tub combo. This local host has a no cancellation policy. Their policy is no refunds and no rescheduling. During winter months road conditions may require that you need a 4-wheel drive (if snow or ice is on the ground). No refunds will be given due to inability to get to cabin due to road conditions or grade of driveway.

No shows will forfeit any monies put down.

After booking, the host offers a Vacation Guarantee for 7% of your total reservation. This enables you to receive a full refund, less the cost of the guarantee, up to 30 days prior to your arrival for a 1 to 4 bedroom cabin, and up to 60 days prior to arrival for 5 bedrooms and larger. Once inside those time periods, the Vacation Guarantee would allow you to reschedule your stay. This is an optional charge post-booking that you can elect to pay directly to the local host company.

Great cabin

We have a great vacation in Gatlinberg. Cabin was very nice. Game room looks larger in pix, but no one slept in it, so it was ok. Cabin did not have any blankets...just quilt on bed. I remove all quilts/comforters on beds when we travel, so having no blankets available in house was a bit odd. Purchased a few to use at Walmart. Cabin was adequately stocked in kitchen.. Had to purchase a pitcher to use though. Cabin decorated very nice and living room furn was comfortable. Washer and dryer worked well. They have a kurig and reg. coffee maker. I called before arrival and asked and was told they did not have a I purchased reg. coffee, only to find out that they do have the kurig. Kitchen appliances worked well. Hot tub worked well too.

Long Weekend

This cabin was everything and more. The cabin is well maintained and very close to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We took our daughter and her husband along with their two sons. The cabin was very roomy and the kids loved the loft with the game room. Would definitely stay there again and would strongly recommend the cabin.

Cabin near Smoky Mountains National Park

Nice cabin for four adults. Carpets need deep cleaning or replacement. Gum or something sticky in various places in carpeting. Photos online need to be updated to current view. Obviously the trees have grown around cabin blocking any view of the mountains in the fall. There are a lot more cabins built around this cabin than shown in the picture. But overall cabin was clean and hot tub was clean. Best feature is how close it is to the National Park. No gas stations in park and very limited vending machines in visitors center, so plan accordingly. Property management team was nice and answered questions quickly.

Truly Almost Heaven

Terrific and affordable weekend getaway during Smoky Mountain Fall peak season. Outstanding staff, check-in and checkout process. Cabin was clean and perfectly setup for our stay - highly recommend this experience.

Amazing Weekend

The house was in great condition and every little thing about it was perfect. The view was amazing and nothing like what the picture shows. The one thing I would fix though is the foosball table since it was really wobbly.

Very pleased

This cabin is so cute and rustic. Exactly what I thought a mountain cabin rental would look like! The wrap-around deck is amazing for relaxing and taking in the views. It does really feel like you're "out in the middle of nowhere" but it's a short drive into Pigeon Forge. The cabin was extremely clean and well maintained. Our kids loved the game room and the hot tub. I would definitely recommend this cabin to family and friends! I think it would be a tight fit for 8 people, but it was just perfect for our family of 4!

Almost Heaven

Everything was great minus the road being flooded in places up to the cabin, but that is not anyone's fault. There was dust all over places and there was a green substance stuck on the master bath tub that we scrubbed out.
