Less than a mile from Rocky Top Sports World and able to sleep up to eighteen people, Day Dreamer is a great option for a group visiting Gatlinburg for a sports tournament. But, the four-bedroom log cabin will also delight anyone who wants to be just minutes from downtown Gatlinburg or the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, or who wants to enjoy amenities such as a hot tub, a pool table, and a home theater. Please note, Two-night minimum stay required.
As soon as you step into Day Dreamer’s great room, you’ll feel warmly welcomed. Large windows let in plenty of sunlight, accentuating the luster of the wood-planked walls, floor, and ceiling. The living area includes a 50” flat-panel TV and cushy seating for kicking back. On nippy winter evenings, you can pull up a barstool and gather around the gas fireplace while planning the next day’s adventures.
The log-style dining table seats eight with room to spare, another five people can sidle up to the bar that runs along a wall, and a few more can sit at the kitchen island. The kitchen itself is a beauty, with recently upgraded stainless-steel appliances, gleaming counters, and plenty of cookware and tableware. Its open layout means several people can help with food prep at once (the more the merrier!), and the dishwasher will make cleanup a snap.
The downstairs of Day Dreamer gives new meaning to the phrase “entertainment center.” Here’s where you’ll find the regulation-size pool table, a foosball table, and a home theater with an oversize screen and nine cinema-style seats (they even have cup holders, just like the seats at your local cineplex).
For the entertainment of a different sort, head out to Day Dreamer’s two spacious covered decks. Sit on one of the rocking chairs with a beverage and a book and relish the fresh mountain breeze whispering through the trees. Or, luxuriate in the hot tub—there’s a flat-screen TV mounted on the outside of the cabin so you can watch your favorite program as you soak!
Day Dreamer’s four bedrooms and four bathrooms are spread out among the cabin’s three floors. Two spacious suites, each with a private bathroom, make up the loft level. One, the master suite, features a king-size bed, a large flat-panel TV, and a gas fireplace; its warm golden glow will add a sense of romance. The second suite is like a clubhouse for the kids: With two sets of queen-sized bunk beds, it can sleep up to eight people. It has a flat-screen TV as well, along with a bistro table and chairs for enjoying a snack or playing a game.
The remaining two bedrooms—one on the main floor and the other downstairs—each feature a queen-size bed and a flat-panel TV. What’s more, the sofas in the game room and the great room open into queen-size beds. Other conveniences include free WiFi, cable channels, and a washer and dryer.
The greatest convenience of all just might be the location. Day Dreamer is located within the quiet Hemlock Hills development, less than a mile from not only Rocky Top Sports World but also the Gatlinburg Arts & Crafts Loop, an eight-mile trail of more than a hundred shops, studios, and galleries offering everything from stained glass to chainsaw art. Also, just minutes away is downtown Gatlinburg, home to restaurants, thrill rides, an aquarium, the Guinness World Records Museum, and the tram that carries you up over the town to Ober Gatlinburg Ski Area and Amusement Park. And let’s not forget about the Great Smoky Mountains National Park (a true must-visit), Dollywood, the Titanic Museum, and much more—they’re all just beyond your front door.
When you stay at Day Dreamer, your dream getaway will become a reality. So why not make your reservation today? We’re looking forward to seeing you.
Please remember that Gatlinburg and the surrounding area is a mountain town with snow and icy conditions during the winter. Inclement weather can affect driving and parking conditions regardless of the property, driveway, or roads. We strongly recommend four-wheel drive and/or chains during the winter months.
