The views of the Great Smoky Mountains truly are spectacular from All About the View. But this six-bedroom, sx-bathroom lodge is about much more than that. There’s also the hot tub, the pool and air-hockey tables, the twenty-game arcade, the home theater, the free WiFi, and the convenient location less than ten minutes from downtown Gatlinburg.
Recently built to an exceptional standard, All About the View can sleep up to twelve people. Each bedroom is a master suite, complete with a king-size bed, a flat-screen HDTV with a DVD player and premium cable, and its own bathroom. Vacationing here is like staying in a hotel but better because there’s also the rest of the three-story house to enjoy with just your friends and family. And because every bedroom is a suite, All About the View accommodates multiple couples as comfortably as it does a family (or several families).
Two of the bedrooms have a deluxe bonus: a jetted tub. Even if you’re in one of the other bedrooms, however, you can still soak among steamy jets of water, courtesy of the hot tub located on one of All About the View’s three decks. From the tub—and in fact, from all three decks—you can admire the mountains during the day and the star-studded sky at night. Spanning the width of the cabin, the decks are furnished with plenty of rockers so that everyone can revel in the awe-inspiring vistas, the fresh mountain breezes, the chirping of larks and warblers during the day, and the hooting of distant owls at night.
You can glory in the scenery from inside All About the View as well. One wall of the main floor’s great room, for instance, consists primarily of oversize windows that look out at the mountains. Once you direct your gaze indoors, you’ll find plenty more to admire: lustrous wood-planked walls, floors, and cathedral ceiling, comfortable red leather couches, a stone-surround fireplace, a flat-panel TV. And that’s just the living area. The dining area features a table that can seat twelve, so that everyone in your group can sit down to meals together.
Like the great room, the kitchen can handle a crowd. Open and spacious, it’s equipped with stainless-steel appliances, a full array of cookware and tableware, and ample storage and counter space. There’s a park-style charcoal grill outdoors too, great for cooking burgers or roasting marshmallows for s’mores. For added convenience, just off the kitchen is a full-size washer and dryer.
For fun and games, All About the View has not one but two game rooms. One features an air-hockey table; the other has a pool table and a twenty-game arcade. Both rooms also include a leather sofa (ideal for napping!), a flat-screen TV, and doors opening onto a deck. Just don’t let the mountain views put you off your game!
For a serious movie or TV viewing, head to the home theater, with twelve cinema-style seats and an oversized flat-screen TV. Family movie night will never be the same!
All About the View offers plenty of ways to entertain yourself during your stay. And there’s even more to see and do just beyond the front door. Downtown Gatlinburg, home to the Anakeesta outdoor entertainment complex, Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, thrill rides, shops, distilleries, and more, is less than a ten-minute drive away. So are the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community. And in a half-hour or less you can drive to Pigeon Forge’s numerous attractions, including Dollywood, the Alcatraz East Museum, dinner theaters, and Parrot Mountain and Gardens.
When you stay at All About the View, one thing’s for sure: You’ll never be bored. Whether you’re vacationing with friends or family, adventurers or luxury-lovers, there’s plenty to make everyone happy. So book your stay today, and get ready for what might be your best vacation yet.
