Wonderful Weekend Getaway

This cabin was gorgeous with wonderful views and mountain charm. We spent a lot of time on the balcony, enjoying the view over Gatlinburg. At night, the pool table and arcade game were a great hit. The beds were incredibly soft and HUGE! The staff was extremely nice and helpful at check in. The check out process was simple, just call as you leave. We really enjoyed our vacation here!

Summer time in Gatlinburg

This cabin was very nice. The only thing we didn't like was the trees blocked our view but other than that it was perfect.

rent something else from a different company

We rented Emerald City Lights on June 12-17. It was a five-night stay that cost us roughly $1,500.* The pillows were stained, and not in the “someone drooled last night” way you indicated. Those types of stains happen when many heads lay on the pillows over a long period of time. It’s from oil, and it’s disgusting. A couple of the pillow shams were stained as well, with splatters of God knows what. * In the kitchen, there was only one cookie sheet, and it was covered in old grease and sticky spots. The pizza cutter was broken. There were no steak knives, no colander/strainer, and only one wine glass. The other wine/cocktail glasses were cheap plastic.* The dishwasher isn’t anchored into its space. When you open or close the door, the whole thing moves.* The outdoor rocking chairs and top-balcony cocktail table haven’t seen a lick of finish/varnish in many seasons. They’re cracked and peeling, and at this point, desperately need to be replaced.* Same with the decks, and the outside of the house. The decks and outdoor woodwork feel shabby and neglected. * The stairs and floors inside the cabin have been damaged and never refinished. There’s almost no finish left on the set of stairs descending from the entryway, and there are deep scratches and gouges all over the living room floor. (There also were extremely dusty Xmas decoration* The stairwell going to the lowest level has seen some water damage. We could see staining on the floor, and what looks like black mold in the corner.* There was a TON of mouse poop in one of the closets. We’ve lived in the country and had mice… that much poop happens over time, not between rentals. There also was a pile of trash, including a pair of discarded underwear.* There was trash below the cabin, on the ground below the deck railings. There is more but i'm limited to 2,000 words....

Wonderful stay!

Aunt Bug’s associates were extremely nice and we enjoyed our stay. The bears surprised us on two separate days by hanging around and attacking the grill, even though we had not feed them. It scared the daylights out of us,but also a memory we will not forget. The cabin was clean and nice and we will definitely consider them again in the future.

Not what I expected

The hot tub was very dirty and had slime at the bottom of it. There was a lot of dirt around the top of the tub. Upstairs bathroom toilet was very loose at the base. The living room furniture was so old that when you sit down you fell into a hole. The couches were so uncomfortable to sit on. The view was beautiful. The beds were very comfortable. There were lots of dead bugs on the floor around the cabin.

WOULD ONLY ASKS FUTURE GUESTS TO PLEASE NOT THROW ANY TRASH OVER THE RAILINGS, THE LAND/VIEW IS TOO GORGEOUS TO HAVE YOUR TRASH INTERFERE. AUNT BUGS IS THE BEST!!

Great Cabin

Our view was awesome and the cabin was great. However, there were a few items that need attention. The dryer has a terrible squeak and may be about to go out. The kitchen could some additional items such as potholders and knives. There is a tremendous amount of trash on the ground at the bottom of the cabin. The light switch in the upstairs bedroom will not allow you to run the fan without having light on also. All doorknobs on exterior doors seem to be very worn. Lastly, the pool table needs retopping and it needs new pool sticks. On lighter notes, our view was incredible. The location is very peaceful. The design of the cabin is perfect for our family. We would definitely rent this CABIN again.

Beautiful views on top of the mountain

This cabin is beautiful and the views are breathtaking. The cabin sits incredibly high up in the mountains, the drive is a little precarious. We loved everything about the cabin, the furniture needs to be replaced it’s quite worn in. The dishes were dirty in the cabinet. The house just needs to be cleaned a little better. But overall it was an amazing stay. We loved the 3 floors and the amenities at the cabin. We called to report the fireplaces were not working and they sent someone to fix them that day. We would stay there again!

Emerald City Lights

This cabin is in a nice location, but suffers from an apparent lack of care. The kitchen was dirty and poorly equipped, the control knobs on the hot tub were all broken, and there was a lot of garbage on the ground around the back of the cabin.

terrible, someone does not take care of this property

Where do I start... From the beginning we walked in there was bugs crawling around on the floor, the corners of the walls had spider webs with spiders in them one of our towels had a smashed bug in it. The back deck grill was inoperable and had an empty propane tank. It seems to be right before we got there someone dropped off another grill in the driveway for us to use and was to lazy to put it on the back porch. there wasn't anything to flip hamburgers or steaks in the house. The pull out bed down stairs was broken and couldn't be used. all the shower mixing valves we lose and about to fall off the wall. the pool table only had 3 working pool sticks the rest were broken, the arcade game worked half the time. the porches were disgusting and looked to have dog poop on two of the floors. The hot tub didn't work that great. the toilet upstairs was wobbly and was clogged when we got there. all the chairs were on the top deck, along with full ash trays all over the decks. around the whole perimeter of the house there was beer bottles and a ton of trash. the sheets on the beds were too small and fell off every time you got in the bed. It seems someone has given up on this house and does not take care of It at all.
