Host Cancellation Policy
This local host has a no cancellation policy. Their policy is no refunds and no rescheduling. During winter months road conditions may require that you need a 4-wheel drive (if snow or ice is on the ground). No refunds will be given due to inability to get to cabin due to road conditions or grade of driveway.
No shows will forfeit any monies put down.
After booking, the host offers a Vacation Guarantee for 7% of your total reservation. This enables you to receive a full refund, less the cost of the guarantee, up to 30 days prior to your arrival for a 1 to 4 bedroom cabin, and up to 60 days prior to arrival for 5 bedrooms and larger. Once inside those time periods, the Vacation Guarantee would allow you to reschedule your stay. This is an optional charge post-booking that you can elect to pay directly to the local host company.
SmokyMountains.com Service Fee Cancellation Policy
If you choose to cancel or not use your reservation, the SmokyMountains.com Service Fee is always non-refundable.
Unit Pet Policy
This property allows a maximum of two dogs and a maximum weight per dog of 40 pounds. Even thought the unit is pet-friendly, no pets may occupy the cabin unless you have registered your dog in a pet approved cabin. If a pet is in an unapproved cabin, a fine of $200.00 will be assessed and you will be required to vacate the cabin immediately without a refund.
This property charges a non-refundable pet-fee of $75.00 plus tax per pet that will be collected after booking. The pet fee does not include any additional clean up services. You are required to clean up after dog inside/outside of the cabin. Please crate your dog when you are not at the property.

dusty, bugs, and many things were not working properly
too many things to list. All I can say is bring your own cooking things, and bed linens and pillows. They need to hire a new cleaning company, and wash the pillows and blankets...enough said

AWESOME!!!!!
We stayed here for 5 days. Its high on the mountain and we got iced in for a couple of days so if you stay here during the winter make sure you check the weather and make sure you have plenty of groceries. We didn't mind being iced in as it gave us and our 3 kids a chance to get go hiking outside and spend a day without electronics.

Beautiful Getaway
We only stayed for a week-end, regretably, it was a wonderful experience and we definitely plan on returning for a week long stay. The staff was professional and helpful. The property was clean, very warm and cozy and located in a beautiful natural setting. I reccomend strongly Unt Bug's Cabin Rentals for anyone planing a visit to the area

nice, but inconvient...
The cabin was beautiful and we enjoyed the trip overall; however, we did not realize the driveway was almost vertical and there were two flights of stairs to climb to get into the cabin. Very nice, but inconvenient with two very small children.

Best of the Smokies
As described above. The grill needed some work, but the property, hot tub, rooms were wonderful. The only frightening experiences were getting up the mountain and down again. Feared going out at night since drive up was so scary (was blacktop) and would have been more confusing at night. 4-wheel drive or stronger 6 cylinder would have been better on winding steep paved and narrow road. The driveway and walk upstairs to cabin quite steep if you have physical limitations, but once up to cabin you are in heaven. Good WiFi/TV and wrap around decks. Hot tub wonderful on a rainy day as well. All you can want if you get up there, but we were too timid to do drive down to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge at night for nightlife, etc. We stayed in September, so no snow/ice to worry about. Lots of wild turkeys almost every day.

Satisfied first time cabin renters
We were there with another couple and loved the location of the cabin! The only thing we were disappointed with was the kitchen utensils being poor, no matches for grill & no dish soap. Everything else in the cabin was GREAT! would recommend it!

nice stay for the price
Negatives where that the cabin could have been cleaner very dusty and there was a dirty rag layin in the floor when I walked in. There is no view. And there seemed to be very little lighting most of bulbs whr blown. Over all a great stay for a really good price even seen two bears cubs in the first hour of our stay
