All group stays (2 or more cabins), 4 bedroom stays and larger, and stays totaling $1200.00 or more must prepay their stay 30 days in advance. No refunds or changes for cancellation of these stays.
Other than those listed above, you can cancel or change your reservations with this host. Cancellation must be at least 30 days prior to arrival in writing. A $120 cancellation fee is deducted from prepayment, no exceptions. There are no refunds or cancellations less than 30 days prior to arrival for any reason. All stays are prepaid 30 days prior to your arrival.
To change a confirmed reservation, you must give at least a 30 day notice to the host and stay within 6 months of original arrival date. A $35 fee will be charged and your stay must be prepaid in full and no refund if reservation is cancelled. Reservations that are changed with the host cannot be changed or cancelled for any reason. No credit will be issued for unused portions of time in case of late arrival or early departure.
A breath of fresh air
A great location and plenty of space. It could use a face lift, like new flooring and a deep cleaning. It wasn't uncomfortably out dated or dirty but for the price, I expected more.Would recommend to others? Yes
Only complaint was general housekeeping dead bugs in Jacuzzi tub, cobwebs, dirty stove drip pans and a huge puddle of grease in the bottom of oven that has been there awhile. Cabin could use some updates but it is a cabin in the mountainsWould recommend to others? Yes

This is the sweetest little spot. Very relaxing and if your wanting to go into town itâ€™s just a short trip.Would recommend to others? Yes
Not worth the money
This cabin needs a lot of work done the deck is dry rotted, flooring in kitchen needs to be replaced you can see the sub floor. There was several cracks in the drywall and you can tell where the roof has leaked bc there is a big stain on the ceiling. The cabin had several bugs in it and the jet tub in one of the bathrooms was nasty!!!Would recommend to others? No

Surprised This is a Aunt Bugs Rental
Hardest beds I've ever seen cabin in poor repair not Aunt Bugs usual standards found it hard to believe it was one of their rentals every other cabin has been top notch I will use Aunt Bugs again but would not stay in this cabin again.Would recommend to others? No

We arrived Sunday August 20 @6:30 pm didn't know the office closed @6 pm it should state the office hrs on the web site, had to eat dinner, went & bought food to cook. Picked up Ito at office followed directions to get2 cabin could not find no sign stating which cabin t was. We finally figured it out it was ours. Yes we had a great experience we will be backWould recommend to others? Yes

Vacation with my Mom
My mom had not been on vacation since before my dad passed away 10 years ago. She, for some reason, wanted to go back to the Smilies where mom and dad had vacationed many times. She was recently diagnosed with the early stages of Alzheimer's. I new I had to find a Chalet on one floor and everything close together so she would not be confused or afraid. Aunt Bugs delivered both! It was just like they advertised it. Small 2 bedroom. She loved it!! Cosy and family friendly!! My mother is 85 years old and she will have memories for a life time! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!Would recommend to others? Yes

Far from a Getaway
When we first entered the cabin, we were struck with a mold/mildew smell. We called to see if another cabin was available. We were offered an upgrade for 3 times the price of the current cabin. We purchased charcoal to absorb the odor and decided to ride it out. (The vent fan does not work in the only bathroom, and several cabins nearby burned so perhaps this one took on a lot of water.) The cabin is also very outdated and in need of many minor repairs. But, the worst was yet to the second day, we were finding dead and sometimes live small cockroaches everywhere. We read the refunds for insects. So since we were now going to be forced to wash everything and carefully inspect everything anyway, we again stayed. The hot tub smelled awful as well so we never used it. Packing and returning home, we spent hours combing through our bags and washing everything, and buying roach motels for our own home in case we missed any unwanted passengers. In short, it was the most miserable stay we have ever had anywhere. I would not wish this cabin on anyone.Would recommend to others? No
