Cold. The basement in this rental is barely usable. Without using space heaters the furnace barely gets to 63 degrees. Too cold to sleep or play down there and that is where two bedrooms, a bath and the pool table are. we sent in a maintenance request through the app but received no response.The electrical work is iffy: there are switches that don't do anything, outlets that don't work and lamps with nowhere to plug them in. When we first arrived, a roach crawled out of the "clean" dishtowel bundle.Would recommend to others? No

the worse customer service and coin I ever stayed at
This has been the worst experience the "upper management" of eden crest rentals could have fixed this and yet they didn't do anything but actually offered less than the front line rep. I ever have encountered. first Friday night we were locked out for over 4 hours. then the bedroom on the main floor was broke and its a queen yet they advertise a king and its not. i would not recommend this canon or company no-one take accountability and "upper management" should know thats 101 in being successful, taking accountability for the mistake not spit in guest face.Would recommend to others? No
We are sorry that you had any issues getting access to your cabin. Unfortunately this cabin's maintenance is not handled by us but rather directly by the owner. As such the delays in service are beyond our control. We also made several attempts to make amends. While we can not always anticipate when something breaks we made every possible attempt to go up and above the rental agreement restrictions by offering you free tickets to area attractions or a refund based on the 3 hour delay but you refused them. We hope after time and careful consideration you will accept our apology.
Good customer service
My family had to evacuate do to hurricane Irma.. They made us feel welcome, the place was very clean. Great stay would totally book again.Would recommend to others? Yes

Worst cabin we've stayed in yet!!
The pictures are glamour shots compared to the real thing. The view is blocked by another house. The house is literally falling apart! They had rotted wood on the deck overhanging the moutain it was so scary. The downstairs ac froze up atleast 5 times and it was miserable hot the upstairs ac doesn't reach the top bedroom so they had a portable ac unit up there but it doesn't cool the bathroom so that bathroom is unusable. The floors are popping up all over the place. We had to buy a mop to clean the floors because they were turning our feet black. They had wasp nests all over the porches and poisonous ivy by the front door. The shower in the master is disgusting and if you use it it leaks water to the downstairs bedroom which they knew about and tried caulking it but it didn't work. The kitchen sink doesn't work. This place was just a disaster they put bandaids on big problems instead of fixing them right. Then when we left they called us to tell us the mirror in the upstairs bathroom cracked but we couldn't use the bathroom due to the heat and no ac so I assume the heat cracked the mirror but they tried pinning it on us. We've been coming to gatlinburg for 10 years and have never had a problem with any other cabins before! Do yourself a favor find another place to stay!Would recommend to others? No
We are sorry that you did not enjoy your cabin choice. At no time did our staff try to "pin" damages on you. The conversation was merely an inquiry with the guest of record as to any information she may have regarding how the mirror cracked. The situation surrounding the maintenance on this cabin is handled directly by the owner not Eden Crest. Unlike the majority of our cabins where we handle all of the maintenance this one is not managed by us. We merely make reservations on behalf of the owner. We have shared all of your comments and concerns with the owner. Our Vacation Planners would be happy to help you find a cabin that may fit your wish list better. Booking in advance also provides you with greater selection since many of our cabins book up very quickly. Going to have minor issues(toilet seat batteries in remotes)and big issues(water leaking from ceiling on bed downstairs).View is wonderful. Cabin its self needs maintenance and if you report issues ...don't think for a minute they care. Sad to say but honest.Would recommend to others? No

Unlike the majority of our cabins where we handle all cleaning, maintenance and marketing of a cabin, Skyline View is maintained by the owner's personal maintenance technician. Upset with the stay
When we booked this cabin it seemed like the perfect one for us. We got there and had trouble getting in with the wrong code that was given to us. No big deal, I called the office and they helped find the correct code. We get in the cabin and there are dead bugs at the doorways and in the bath tubs. Thankfully they were dead but I was specifically told that they would send me the code to the door after the cabin was inspected. This cabin was never inspected or they would have seen these bugs. The rooms had been cleaned in the past but not within the time frame I was told. I swept up the bugs and made a call saying what had happened and told them I had already cleaned up the bugs. We didn't have time to wait for anyone to come be sent out to the cabin because we wanted to go to the strip in town and enjoy our trip. I also was told there was a king bed within the master, this was not true. The ice maker didn't work, the bottom bathroom toilet leaked and also the shower knobs were stripped in the shower downstairs. This is a beautiful cabin and also not my first time booking with Eden Crest. The cabin had a beautiful view but the drive was scary up the mountain but expected and worth it for the view. My trip at the cabin was a good one but when I called after checkout to report the rest of my problems I was told to call the following day. I did and they didn't have an answer for me so I waited a couple days and called back and got an answer that I would receive a coupon for 20% off a next stay and also a 50$ gift card. My stay was the first of the month and have yet to receive an email with the information of gift card and coupon or a copy in the mail like I was told. The cabin was beautiful but upset with the customer service. :(Would recommend to others? Yes

Fun cabin in mountains
Darling house with cabin feel. Lots of charm and great view. Drive to house was a little scary with narrow roads and sharp twists and turns up steep mountain.Would recommend to others? Yes

Property was super clean, had minor issues such as a leaking toilet and a leak from the sealing in one of the rooms downs stairs, But that did not ruin our stay, property management kept in touch via a APP you download to your phone which made things alot easier. Overall its a great spot with a amazing viewWould recommend to others? Yes
