Basswood Lodge - Gatlinburg Cabin

Elk Springs Resort was the perfect get-a-way for our family and friends. The Basswood Cabin was absolutely perfect for us. We could not have selected a better unit. My guest had a delivery issue with his medical supplies and the staff went the extra mile to assure that the shipment was located and delivered to our cabin. The cabin was clean and very comfortable. Looking forward to a return call from the sales dept. to discuss cabins on the market for sale. We can't wait for our return visit.

Very pleasant peaceful vacation. The cabin was very clean. We loved having the pool table, foosball, sauna and hot tub. The theater room was great with the surround sound. The check in/out process was easy. Staff is great. Over all this is a nice clean resort and cabins are great. Will be returning again. Thanks Elk Springs Resort.

So grateful to be experience the beautiful landscape just perfectly removed from the strip. The cabin allowed us to eat, hike, relax at our leisure.

Beautiful, roomy cabin. There were 5 adults and 4 children and we had plenty of room. We all especially enjoyed the theater room!

Great time and shape for all. Only complaint was only one frying pan to cook for 10 people. I told staff they needed more and I would definitely return and would rent same unit

Nothing short of perfect. The crewhad cabin ready early and it was spotless. The views were nice and the neighborhood was peaceful. Adjacent cabins were far enough away to allow us privacy but close enough to make us feel safe. The media room was amazing, kids loved having movie nights. Porches were nice and we had great views of the sunset each night.

One of the best, if not the best cabins we have stayed in. Well taken care of and clean. The other cabins are too close, too crowded and when others are staying at the cabin across the street with kids, it disturbs the peace and tranquility we were looking for.

Our party of six thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Basswood Lodge! Very clean except grill needs MAJOR cleaning and ceiling fans need to be dusted. Rooms appeared as they did on the website. Loved the resort grounds. The home theater was a BIG hit! Close to Gatlinburg and P Forge but you would never know it!! Secluded! Staff was great to work with when I was booking as I suffer from Altitude Sickness. They accurately advised which cabins would better suit my needs. Love the check in/out process. So easy!! We will be back next in 2015!

This was our first visit to Gatlinburg and our first family vacation. The cabin was beyond our expectations and made for a very memorable weekend. There was enough room for everyone to spread out and plenty for everyone to do around the cabin - movie, pool table, hot tub etc. We were able to hook up the Apple TV to the TV in the main room and the Xbox downstairs. Cabin was a short drive to the grocery store and family dollar where we went to pick up items that were forgotten. It was also a short drive to Downtown Gatlinburg where we spent the evening of the 4th. We had a great time taking in the scenary, enjoying the cabin, and enjoying each other. We will be telling all our friends about this resort and can't wait to come back!

My wife and I were looking for a relaxing getaway in Gatlinburg. We found this site and decided to try it. The cabin was very nice. We felt safe. We definitely want to return!
