Description

Relax after a day in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in your own private theater room with 9' Theater Screen and reclining theater seating. Or how about spending 20 minutes in your own private Sauna? Mountain Fever features 2 master suites with jacuzzi tubs and a rain shower as well as third bedroom with Queen over Queen bunk beds that can sleep up to 4 adults. This 3 Bedroom 3 Bath cabin also features a pool table, game table, outdoor hot tub on one of the 3 decks and a Stainless Steel Gas Grill.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your reservation 15 or more days prior to your arrival date a voucher for a future stay will be issued by host in the amount of the deposit less the reservation fee for use for a future stay within 365 days of the date of cancellation. If you cancel your reservation 14 days or less prior to arrival you will be responsible for the full reservation amount (you will forfeit the full deposit amount and the non-refundable reservation fee, and shall be responsible for the remaining rent amount and all other applicable charges associated with the reservation). Only the Guest named on the Agreement may cancel a reservation and cancellations must be made by phone call to Hosts Office.

Plans can be changed before 14 days prior to the scheduled check in with no penalty. No changes are permitted within 14 days of check in.

Snowboarding Trip

This weekend was amazing, the cabin was better than I thought. I finally found a cabin that had an actual working theater room. The process to book a cabin was easy and on check in day Elk springs resort actually text me way before my 3 pm check in to tell me my cabin was ready. I will be staying with Elk Springs Resort again.

Not our best visit

We stay with Elk Springs a lot. Sometimes 2-3 times a year. This was our worst experience. Bath tub was dirty and had hair in it, fireplace didn't work, TV upstairs only worked on one channel. Someone did come out to try to fix the fireplace, but no luck. Cold weekend and no fire was a bummer. I told the person who called about the tub and tv, but there was no offer to correct it. We usually love Elk Springs, but we were very disappointed this go round.

Mountain retreat

Elk springs does a good job and we started staying at elk sprigs when hemlock hills started getting run down. Unfortunately elk springs may be headed the same way

Great Cabin!

The cabin is exactly what it looks like on the pictures. The cabin was perfect for 9 people. We will definitely come back to stay again. The only issue was the sofa sleeper mattress was dirty, but overall great stay.

Great for two small families!

We had two families of 4 with children under 5 for a week. The cabin was convenient to arts/craft shops and grocery/restaurants. The theater room was AWESOME! Beds were very comfy, stairs padded and carpeted which made them safer for little feet running up and down. We had almost every kitchen appliance/cookware we needed and plenty of linens to go around.

Fun with Friends

We had a great visit with longtime friends. The house was pretty and furnishings were comfortable. Overall, it was clean, though we did find trash from previous guests in the bunk room and there were some dusty light fixtures. The only other problem we encountered was a lack of 9x13" casserole dish, which I would consider a basic kitchen supply. Two would be even better for a large groups, but we had to get creative to cook dinner. We did notice a lid for that size pan, so maybe it has just gotten broken at some point? Again, we had a great getaway and had to come home long before we were ready! These are just little things I thought you might want to know. Thanks!

Escaping to the eclipse

Basswood lodge more than exceeded my expectation. It was a wonderful get away. We brought 7 people from 6 weeks in age to 70 years and everyone had a great experience where we could balance alone and together time while exploring the Smokies

The Tennessee Waltz-2017

The cabin and location was beautiful and exceeded our expectations. The drive up was a surprise. It was dark already and a little unnerving: unfamiliar twisting road, not especially properly marked in all areas. Would have liked to have had some forewarning about travel time and road condition description.

In attempt to avoid this problem we send out several emails prior to your arrival with detailed turn by turn driving instructions and an address for GPS. This cabin is located in our main Elk Springs Resort and is very clearly marked. Once in the resort, there are even signs in front of each cabin as well. We are sorry that the travel was an inconvenience and hope that you will consider staying with us again during your next trip to Gatlinburg.
