Blackjack - Gatlinburg Cabin

Only shortcoming is lack of dedicated swimming pool for use by guests. Did not like indoor pool at the community center. Will definitely return for another stay when the planned pool is available. Excellent facility otherwise.

Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Very comfortable. Didn't appreciate someone coming and showing the cabin to another family in the middle of our vacation, was looking through windows. Not professional.

Our stay at the Blackjack cabin was great and exactly what we were looking for. I thought it would be a little closer to Gatlinburg, but it was very convenient to the grocery, Arts and crafts shops, and main highway..and only 10-15 minutes to Gatlinburg. We loved it. Thank you for all of your help. And, a big thanks to Patrick who checked on us after our checkin--very appreciated. Take care.

The perfect spot. Loved returning from the milling crowds to the bucolic resort out of the chaos. Staff there immediately there was so much as a light bulb out, and delightful. Like the extra safety features (e.g. cable on hot tub). Also found many many things to do that cost nothing: our 4 grandsons "creek-ed" and "rock-ed" rather than do any of the Gatlinburg costly stuff. Thanks, to all at this resort. A fun time was had by all!

Our experience at Blackjack was great! The internet advertising was exactly what was promised - sometimes you just don't know, but our expectations were certainly met. Only negatives: clean was surface clean - there was pet hair on the furniture and other things you would see but not at first glance. Also, our washing machine did not work so no laundry service. Maintenance looked at it, but could not repair. Management did not call to address the situation. Cleaning staff left an envelope looking for a tip. I expect that I paid enough for the cabin to be clean on arrival.

We are repeat visitors to Elk Springs and always love the cabins. Although this unit - Black Jack needs a deep dusting. All the interior logs walls were loaded with dust and the outside definitely needs pressure washing. The high central windows haven't seen windex in a long while. Other than that everything was **** n span. Our only major complaint was self inflicted - we didn't book a longer stay! :-)

The cabin was great, our only problem was that it took the downstairs 3rd level a long time to warm up during the night. The amenities were great!!! We are definitely planning our winter vacation here!!!!!

My family and I spent a week in this cabin and was very nice. I do wish that there were a few more external lights on the property, deck, and hot tub area. It was quite dark in the evenings when we would use the hot tub.
