Description

2 king master suites each with a full bath, a full kitchen with dining area, appliances and everything you will need for in cabin meals. And all the conveniences such as free WIFI, a washer dryer and phone with local and long distance. In the small chance your party will be bored with the pool, then they will enjoy shooting a game of pool or relaxing by the fireplace, or maybe reading on one of the rockers on the deck. ### Warning, the last 1/4 to 1/2 miles drive to this cabin is relatively steep. We recommend 4 wheel drive during winter months. Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your reservation 15 or more days prior to your arrival date a voucher for a future stay will be issued by host in the amount of the deposit less the reservation fee for use for a future stay within 365 days of the date of cancellation. If you cancel your reservation 14 days or less prior to arrival you will be responsible for the full reservation amount (you will forfeit the full deposit amount and the non-refundable reservation fee, and shall be responsible for the remaining rent amount and all other applicable charges associated with the reservation). Only the Guest named on the Agreement may cancel a reservation and cancellations must be made by phone call to Hosts Office.

Plans can be changed before 14 days prior to the scheduled check in with no penalty. No changes are permitted within 14 days of check in.

Granddaughters birthday

The cabin was in a great location. Kinda tricky to get to it in a car but doable. The cabin was clean and lovely. The problem was the AC quit working the first night we were there and it was hot and hard to sleep. They came and "fixed it" the next morning but the next day it was 85 degrees again. We had to leave to find a cool place to be. They fixed it again and our final night was cool. It was the only problem I had with the cabin but it ruined a lot of plans.

Amazing Spring Break!

We are first time renters with Elk Springs and would rent with them again! Booking was easy. They have a friendly and knowledgeable staff. Our cabin, A Sercret Splash was beyond words! Already planning for another visit. We would certainly recommend Elk Springs to anyone looking for a cabin rental company.

GAP

Enjoyable time with our two grandchildren, ages 12 and 15. House was suitable. There were signs that the property is spot cleaned, not thoroughly cleaned. For example, the tops of the can lights in the kitchen were very dusty. Rugs seemed dusty. As one with dust allergies, this was troublesome. Furnishings were as advertised and expected. Parking was challenging due to the grade. Porches were nice. No bathroom on the lower level where the pool and hot tub are located. Due to poor weather, we did not use the hot tub.The grandchildren used the pool twice. It is amall and not suitable for a awim. I Once off the mountaintop, the property is conveniently located to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge...the mountain drive is treacherous, especially in rainy weather. Property is better suited to 2 couples who want a mountain retreat.

April 6th - 9th 2018

Wife and I loved the cabin, our bed and pillows were very comfortable. Our Children really enjoyed the pool and as a parent the alarm system for the pool entrance gave us peace of mind. The only negative, was the steep incline getting to the cabin and trying to back out of the parking space. It was pretty tight and the wife had to get out and direct me. I wouldn't advise a large van such as a big passenger van. Other than that the cabin was awesome and we would stay again.

Dusty cabin

The cabin was nice but however extremely dusty and cob webs everywhere! We could get dressed to leave and before getting out the door was covered in dust our hairbrushes was covered in dust! The indoor pool looks big in picture but its pretty small!

Perfect Getaway

Great escape with our girls! The indoor pool and hot tub were a huge hit, and we taught our girls a nice game of pool. My husband and I were able to relax at night comfortably when kids when to bed

Will return!

We absolutely loved this cabin. In a great location, clean and nice, pool was wonderful, well-stocked. We couldn't get the gas fireplace to start and someone came out promptly to assist us. We will definitely return to this cabin on our next trip to Gatlinburg!

Very disappointing

Tv volume did not work and could not be fixed. Kitchen table was so shaky could not put drinks on it due to weld on leg was broken.The toaster also broken but was replaced. Came for xmas but could not have heat downstairs per Owner? It was in the 30s and raining sometimes colder. Paid for a pool and pool table we could not use due to cold. Pool room tile and cement even if pool was warm (and it wasn't) you could not be in that room, especially in a bathing suit!

We do see that a technician came out and checked the temperature on the pool as well as the volume for the TV. The temperature of the pool when he arrived was at 82 degrees and we show that he turned it up to 87 degrees. The volume could not be adjusted via the remote, however, it could be adjusted by the buttons on the actual TV. The technician did explain this prior to leaving. We are sorry, but there had to have been a misunderstanding regarding the heat downstairs. Even though the cabins are individually owned, it is mandatory that there is heat on each level at every cabin. The thermostat is set to limit the temperature to 75 as temperatures higher than this can put too much stain on the unit and cause the units to freeze up. Your feedback has been forwarded to our maintenance department and we can assure you each item will be addressed. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience experienced and hope you were able to enjoy your time spent in our area.

Cute, clean cabin, but beware of accessibility

We were a family of 6 and very happy with the cabin itself. It is on the small side, but the little indoor pool kept the kids occupied and made up for the tight fit. My main concern about this cabin is the steep road to get to it. I've written the cabin company who says they let you know about the steep road in the check in information, but let's be honest, who really reads that stuff. I suggested that they warn people about these roads PRIOR to booking. We arrived after 10pm in pitch black. It was dry outside and our minivan could NOT make it up the hill. After 3 attempts of skidding, sliding and kids crying, we did finally make it up but the next day it snowed and it was a real mess from there on out. (ie - having to hike/slide up/down this steep hill on foot) Please do your research when booking and be sure to ask about accessibility no matter what cabin you go with. Lesson learned to always ask! Cabin companies should NOT hide this type of information from families.

We do include this information in each booking to ensure our guests are prepared for all aspects of their stay. We also recommend asking about accessibility anytime you are booking a cabin in the mountains. While some cabins are lower and easier to access, other cabins may only be accessible by traveling winding, mountain roads. We also include detailed driving directions in this same email and instructions to print out the directions as GPS is not reliable going to this cabin. There are two routes listed, the QUICK ROUTE-(steep hill that sometimes can be slippery) along with ALTERNATIVE ROUTE. We sincerely apologize for the difficulties you experienced and hope you were able to enjoy your time spent in our area.
