A true log cabin, this beautiful two bedroom luxury cabin offers king size beds, indoor jetted tub and a hot tub on the deck. Play a game of pool or just relax next to the cozy fireplace, this cabin is sure to create memories forever. Enter on the main level into the great room where there is 20 feet of glass overlooking the wooded valley. With comfortable seating for 5, you can enjoy the fireplace or go up to the loft and play a game of pool. The full kitchen and dining room adjoin the great room where there is seating for 6 including the breakfast bar. A washer / dryer is included for your convenience. Also on the main level is the suite and suite bath with king sized bed with upgraded mattress as well as rustic yet luxury furnishings including the true stacked logs as well as the 4x6 ceiling beams. Upstairs next to the loft pool table area is a full suite with king sized bed and full private bath for privacy. Admire the vaulted ceilings and finish work in this lofted bedroom. Outside on the wrap around covered deck are a hot tub and gas grill. Flat paved parking can accommodate a motorcycle trailer. A total of 4 TV's and 3 DVD players in this luxury cabin. Escape for a 3 day weekend from work while being able to check in with FREE wireless internet. Bedroom and Sleeping Arrangements: Upper Level - Bedroom 1: King Bed - Sleeps 2 Main Level - Bedroom 2: King Bed - Sleeps 2 Main Level - Great Room: Queen Sleeper - Sleeps 2 Free WIFI, a washer / dryer, iron and ironing board, and paved parking are included for your convenience. All linens and towels are provided as well as a starter supply of paper towels, toilet paper, soaps and detergents. Host Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your reservation 15 or more days prior to your arrival date a voucher for a future stay will be issued by host in the amount of the deposit less the reservation fee for use for a future stay within 365 days of the date of cancellation. If you cancel your reservation 14 days or less prior to arrival you will be responsible for the full reservation amount (you will forfeit the full deposit amount and the non-refundable reservation fee, and shall be responsible for the remaining rent amount and all other applicable charges associated with the reservation). Only the Guest named on the Agreement may cancel a reservation and cancellations must be made by phone call to Hosts Office.

Plans can be changed before 14 days prior to the scheduled check in with no penalty. No changes are permitted within 14 days of check in.

SmokyMountains.com Service Fee Cancellation Policy

If you choose to cancel or not use your reservation, the SmokyMountains.com Service Fee is always non-refundable.

Unit Pet Policy

This host charges a $50 (plus tax) pet fee per animal staying in pet-friendly rental units. The animal type is restricted to dogs and a maximum of three dogs are permitted. In addition, dogs over 50 pounds are not permitted.

The following breeds are not permitted in cabins or anywhere on the property at any time: Pit Bulls & Staffordshire Terriers, Doberman Pinschers, Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Chows, Great Danes, Presa Canarios, Akitas, Alaskan Malamutes, Siberian Huskies, Wolf-hybrids.

Pure Bliss

Elk Springs was a delightful getaway, unlike any other experience I have had that exceeded all of my expectations! It was so peaceful and just what I needed!

A great secluded getaway still close to town!

We loved walking around the entire cabin resort and enjoying the woods and mountain views. There's nothing more relaxing than sitting in a rocking chair with a cup of coffee watching the sunrise and listening to a symphony of birds. Rascals Retreat is decorated very cute and all accommodations were comfortable. Definitely want to return soon.

great vacation in the Mountains

Extremely impressed!!

Usually the pictures on the internet are not always what you get in person. In this case what you see on the website is exactly what you get. The cabin was roomy, extremely clean, and peaceful. It's like a home away from home. The only thing you need to bring is food. We loved it so much that we plan to come back. Highly recommend.

Loved our stay with Elk Springs Resort at Rascals Retreat

My family spent our spring break at Rascals Retreat and we were very satisfied with the cabin. It was extremely clean and well maintined. The beds were very comfortable. This cabin is pet friendly and is situated next to an open grassy area which is convenient for walking your dog. The cabin is near the Arts and Crafts area, close to a grocery store and gas station. We would recommend this cabin.

Great, except bat poop

Bats in overhang of back porch pooped all day on chairs and ground near rear doors, otherwise great cabin. It is the wilderness though.

Great cabin and great vacation

Our cabin was in a great spot and definitely our home away from home. Our kids LOVED the treat of having a TV in their bedroom. We loved having a beautiful, spacious spot to relax in after a day of hiking and sightseeing.

Comfy and Cozy

We had a great time in just two nights' stay in the Rascal Retreat. There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out and not be on top of each other like in a hotel room. The cabin is clean and beautiful. Sometimes we just sat and looked up at the woodwork. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool table, too. The only unfortunate part was the squeaking floors when anyone walked upstairs and the metal bed squeaking. Our poor travel mates on the lower level heard every move we made.The beds were very comfortable, however, and we did sleep well. Some noise and squeaking is to be expected with hardwood floors, but this was quite annoying.
