Just a short 10 minute and convenient drive from Elk Springs Resort, this BRAND NEW cabin is located in Bear Foot Mountain Resort. Luxury furniture and accessories await in this large yet cozy and romantic 1 bedroom cabin. Master suite includes fireplace, jacuzzi tub, king size bed and private deck with hot tub. Enjoy the unrestricted views of the Smoky Mountains from your deck with gas grill, outdoor fireplace and sounds of the creek below. Unwind to a movie in front of the fireplace while watching on the 55" 3D flat screen TV with 3D Blu-ray DVD and surround sound system. Fully equipped upscale kitchen with dining space for 4. A total of 4 fireplaces in this cabin including the master bath! Due to many amenities in this cabin, it is limited to Adults only with a maximum occupancy of 2.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your reservation 15 or more days prior to your arrival date a voucher for a future stay will be issued by host in the amount of the deposit less the reservation fee for use for a future stay within 365 days of the date of cancellation. If you cancel your reservation 14 days or less prior to arrival you will be responsible for the full reservation amount (you will forfeit the full deposit amount and the non-refundable reservation fee, and shall be responsible for the remaining rent amount and all other applicable charges associated with the reservation). Only the Guest named on the Agreement may cancel a reservation and cancellations must be made by phone call to Hosts Office.

Plans can be changed before 14 days prior to the scheduled check in with no penalty. No changes are permitted within 14 days of check in.

Short getaway

We enjoyed the few days we stayed in the cabin we rented. Everything was ready for us when we got there, only thing we had to do was grab some groceries. If you are looking for a place close to Gatlinburg but not right in town, this is the one!

Hide away in the country

Amazing honeymoon!

The Cabin was larger than expected. There was everything we could have needed in the kitchen, plenty of towels. We ventured out mostly to do hiking and spent the rest of our time enjoying moonstruck. Defiantly looking forward to another vacation with elk springs!

WONDERFUL!!

We had such a wonderful stay at Moonstruck. The cabin was fabulous with a BEAUTIFUL view. It was very neat and clean around the cabin. Check in and check out was super easy. Little on the outskirts of Gatlinburg but it did not take long to get there it was a straight drive. Bed was super comfy. We felt at home and cannot wait to return!

Never again.

We returned from dinner and a movie at 10 pm to find someone had entered our cabin and even cooked in the kitchen. Used eggs from our fridge,left trash in the can and ice cream in the freezer?! After scouring every corner and closet to determine we were alone, we began to look for some other explanation than a drug crazed maintenance worker had key code access and got tired of waiting for our arrival and is now down the street waiting. Called maintenance and hung up after 7 minute wait. Called housekeeping, hung up after 5 minutes. Called reservations who's recording said expect a 15 minute wait. Christina answered and said, oh yeah, a personal chef entered the wrong cabin. A contractor made a mistake, I understand. A chef would have been preparing dinner 4:30-5:30? What's inexcusable is at 10:30pm she still had not notified us of the intrusion. In our fear and confusion we had to call her. However text and email worked fine to notify us the next morning it's time to checkout. NO they did not offer to comp our stay. She did say we could enjoy the ice cream. There are HUNDREDS of equally nice cabins available in this area. Elk Springs resort:Never again.

First of all, I would like to offer our sincerest apologies for what you experienced. This is not indicative of a normal stay with us, nor do we find this acceptable. We dropped the ball and did not verify the name of the guest they were cooking for prior to issuing the code to them. This service was actually scheduled for the guest that checked in on the following day. Many of our guests have used this service and we can honestly say, this has never happened in the past. We have never received any complaints on their service at all, just raving reviews. We did speak with the representative you spoke with the night of the incident. She had just been notified of the error by the vendor and was in the process of looking up your cell phone number to contact you to inform you of the mistake when you called. She is new with our company and did not handle it properly on some aspects. We will work with her to ensure the proper procedure is followed in the future. We truly appreciate you bringing this matter to our attention. We sincerely apologize for this error and hope you will consider staying with us again in the future.

Amazing cabin with a gorgeous view

We spent a few days here during the Autumn and we're blown away by the view and how secluded it felt. Although there are neighbouring cabins fairly close the balconies have very sensitively shielded any view of them and you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere.Facilities were lovely and very high spec, so much that we adjusted our plans to allow us to spend one more night there!It's about 20-30 mins drive from the main Gatlinburg centre so keep that in mind if planning to spend a full day on the moonshine taste sessions as a taxi back could be expensive.

Anniversary Trip

My husband and I stayed in Moonstruck and the cabin itself was perfect. The views and amenities make for a romantic getaway and the kitchen is well stocked with cooking equipment making cooking an easy task. The only downsides to the trip were when we arrived our access code to the door didn't work; luckily we had hired a private chef who was given the access code from the previous guests which worked. The downside to that though was we felt the safety in the situation was a little lacking. When I text that we did not have a new code; they said to just use the one from the previous guests.Another slight inconvenience was during our dinner the power went out; having paid a lot of money for a special dinner and having to eat it in the dark was not the romantic setting we had hoped for, but understand the rental company did their best to get the electricity up as soon as possible.

It is one of the most romantic cabins that we manage, and it's perfect for an anniversary trip. It is regrettable that you experienced any issues during your visit but I would like to clarify a very important detail. The code provided was not a code from a previous guest; the code provided was an emergency code for your cabin only. This code is changed often and is never given to different guests. I truly apologize if you were misinformed as to where the code originated from but please, let me assure you, you are safe here with us. Although it was out of our hands, we certainly apologize if the outage came at a bad time. Just like at one's home, we were at the mercy of the electric company. I do see the power was restored in a timely manner. We hope you will choose to visit with us again in the future. Please keep in mind, as repeat visitors you will enjoy 10% off all future bookings!

Great Time!

We had a great time. The cabin was awesome! Very clean, cozy and a great place to unwind. The cabin made you feel like you were at home! We absolutely love this cabin and we will be returning in the future.
