Mountain Elegance - Gatlinburg Cabin

When we reviewed the cabins online it stated the cabin was 10 minutes from downtown, but it is actually 20 minutes WAY out from downtown. The parking at the cabin is not something that we were informed about when we booked either, it was the only cabin in our area that had you actually parked at such a steep slope that it was dangerous to pull in and out of the drive in the dark. Plus opening and closing the car doors was a challenge at times due to the angle that the car was parked. As for the cooking pots and pans, they are extremely old and not safe, the metal on the inside of the pans turned our food grey and made it unsafe to eat our first night in the cabin so we purchase new pans to use while we were there. The rest of our stay was very nice. I just wish that we had asked more questions before booking and paying such a high price for what we thought would be a cabin within walking distance to the downtown area. Instead we used quite a bit of gas and time just driving in and out of town.

From the moment we walked in until our departure...WOW! The place was super clean and all the furnishings were something we'd love to have in our own home. Although we never had a chance to use the very clean hot tub, we did use the sauna multiple times and thoroughly enjoyed that. The large flat screen TVs in the bedroom and living room were something we enjoyed as we spent a lot of time watching movies and relaxing. The cleanliness and modern amenities of the place was by far something we'd never experienced with other rental agencies in that area. And, the view when we awoke to a bit of snow was AMAZING! We will definitely book with Elk Springs again and hopefully end up back in this unit. Thank you so much for a wonderful anniversary trip and we're already looking forward to seeing that place again...SOON!

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was well equipped with starter items (toilet paper, soap, etc.) and anything you need was available. Unless you go just for the cabin, there is so much to do at the cabin and in town that it was hard to get it all in just 3 days. The bed was comfortable, the AV and TVs all worked great and the DVD/3D movies were a nice surprise! Great linens and bathroom towels too. Small issue with lady bugs which we didn't mind at all. However, behind the bed and dresser it was very dusty and some critters had died and weren't cleaned up. No instruction how to use the jets in the garden tub. The jets in the shower did not seem to work either and this was a primary reason I chose this specific cabin. Notes referenced trash needed to be removed, but we did not see any instruction on where we needed to take it. The cabin was ready early which was a plus, furniture both interior and exterior was very nice. You won't be disappointed.

Had a wonderful 5 night stay. Cabin really cute and enjoyed all the extras. loved the view. Took lots of pictures so we can dip into the memories of a most pleasurable experience. Will be back.

My fiancé & I had a wonderful time in our cabin. It was the nicest and cleanest place we have ever stayed in. The cabin was close to downtown Gatlinburg and restaurants. We will definitely be coming back here for another getaway!!

This cabin is perfect for a vacation in the mountains. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The driveway is extremely steep so if you have a motorcycle you may want to choose another unit. We were able to park ours at the end of the driveway and it wasn't a big deal. Very clean and nice with all the amenities. Resort owners are a pleasure to deal with, very accommodating.

Amazing!We were supposed to be spending a week at the beach, but last minute hurricane threats changed our minds. So, we were looking for an alternative just a few days prior to the start of our vacation. We were lucky enough to find the Mountain Elegance cabin available, and it was absolutely worth the last minute change.When we arrived after our simple drive in, the cabin was in perfect condition. Ideally located just outside of all the major tourist area, it was extremely clean and organized yet cozy and inviting. It is the picture perfect cabin for a stay in the mountains, and it was stocked with everything you could need from a starter supply of dish soap and trash bags to makeup towelettes and skewers for grilling. And, most importantly, the view from the deck alone was worth the journey. Breathtaking! We especially loved just how cozy and relaxing the cabin was. Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge are lovely places with so much to do, but the cabin was the perfect place for a day in if that's what you need! We enjoyed playing pool, grilling next to the beautiful mountain view, and relaxing in the hot tub. We even made it out on the deck one morning to enjoy the sunrise from the porch swing. Absolutely perfect!For a day out in the area, there is something for everyone. We went to several dinner shows which were nothing less than wonderful in terms of dinner and entertainment. There was plenty of shopping in the area including big name outlet stores and local shops. We also loved our adventure with CLIMBWORKS, which is just a few minutes from the cabin. We ziplined above the mountains, and I highly recommend the earliest morning tour!Booking our reservation was simple, and all of the information we received was very thorough and convenient. Each staff member that we spoke to was helpful and kind. We will definitely be back!
