Just minutes from the Arts & Crafts Community and Downtown Gatlinburg you will love spending your family vacation at Mountain Splash. Your own private indoor pool with waterfall will create a memorable vacation for the adults and kids. If by some small chance anyone gets bored, you can shoot a game pool or use the free highspeed WIFI. Even better, relax with a book on the covered deck or even in front of the gas fireplace. Better yet, you can soothe yourself in the hot tub on the covered deck.

The fully equipped kitchen will provide you with everything you need to prepare in cabin meals during your short or extended stay - after all, the kids may never want to leave the cabin. If you do want to adventure out you are just 20 minutes to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park main entrance, 15 minutes to Dollywood, 8 Minutes to the Arts and Crafts Community and only 15 minutes to Downtown Gatlinburg.

The adults will retire to the king master suite with jacuzzi tub and full bath while the kids can use the sleeper sofa in the great room.

Free WIFI and a washer/dryer are including for your convenience.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your reservation 15 or more days prior to your arrival date a voucher for a future stay will be issued by host in the amount of the deposit less the reservation fee for use for a future stay within 365 days of the date of cancellation. If you cancel your reservation 14 days or less prior to arrival you will be responsible for the full reservation amount (you will forfeit the full deposit amount and the non-refundable reservation fee, and shall be responsible for the remaining rent amount and all other applicable charges associated with the reservation). Only the Guest named on the Agreement may cancel a reservation and cancellations must be made by phone call to Hosts Office.

Plans can be changed before 14 days prior to the scheduled check in with no penalty. No changes are permitted within 14 days of check in.

Relaxing Weekend

Very nice stay. Cabin was clean and well taken care of. The wifi works well. There is no phone service available in this location and no landline. Other than that, we had a relaxing weekend.

Anniversary Getaway

Not up to Elk Springs standards

We've stayed in chalets in the Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge area for over 20 years now and have had over 30 different chalets, so we are experienced at the Gatlinburg vacations.Pros:Cons:We were forced to wait 2 hours past check-in to get into the chalet, as the pool tech was there working on a leaking pool. It was after 5:00 pm before we were allowed to get the code to get in.We got calls daily from the resort management telling us the maintenance guy was going to be entering our chalet.The pool leaked daily so much that a maintenance man had to come to the chalet daily and interrupt our vacation to work on the pool. The waterfall never worked and he never attempted to fix it. He was only there to fill the pool daily as it leaked.The hot tub had only one jet workingThere was an animal inside the chalet every night but we had no luck trapping it and it scared our granddaughter to even sleep there and she's 10. It was not a mouse. It was big enough to knock a lamp over. We actually went out and bought a trap, but had no luck.The pictures on the web of the pool area are outdated and new pictures showing the mess should be put up. There are 2 big holes cut in the floor at the end of the pool. No working waterfall. The pool area no longer looks like the pics on the web.The drive to the chalet is so overgrown that trees are hanging from both sides of the road as well as over the top of your vehicle so you have no choice but to drive through it and scratch your vehicle up in the process. We came back to the chalet after being out all day and there was a nosy neighbor that we found standing in our driveway looking down into the pool area deck below. The people in the house next to the chalet are locals and had no problem coming on to the chalet property and it made it creepy.We've stayed at Elks Spring a few times and never had an experience like this. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us, Kimberly. We are sorry to hear you were disappointed with your stay. The pools are serviced prior to each of our guest's stay. The technician did find that the pool had a leak at this point and you were notified. Since we did not have another pool cabin available the best option was to have a technician come out each morning to fill the pool to ensure you and your family would be able to enjoy it during your stay. While we can understand this is an inconvenience, we can also understand that shutting down the pool is simply not the best solution. We know you and your family booked a cabin with an indoor pool and the last thing we want to do, especially when there are children, is to take away the amenity that the child or children have been looking forward to the most. This was discussed with you and at no time were we informed that it was this much of an inconvenience. If we would have been made aware of this, we could have scheduled the visits differently, so it would not have been so much of an intrusion. Although you did report the waterfall not working, it was reported as just documenting, not that you wished for it to be fixed. You were told that we would have the technician look at it after you checked out, but also, if you changed your mind and wanted it repaired to please let us know. The other issues were not reported during your stay. Our maintenance department is aware now of the issues and we can assure you they will be addressed. We provide 24/7 guest assistance and will work with you to ensure all issues are remedied, if given the chance. We also were not made aware of the situation with the neighbor. We would have been happy to assist you in making sure it did not happen again. We sincerely apologize for the issues you experienced during your stay and hope you were able to enjoy your time spent in our area.

Awesome

Mountain splash cabin was a great experience with my wife and two daughters. We were nervous about having a pool in basement with two kids but when we got there we found out that there was a alarm on door. So kids couldn't access the pool by themselves. This place was great and we will be going back.

Heaven

Amazing! I would say perfect but there were a few minor cons & as awesome as this place is, I couldn't believe it but a hairdryer is a must. Now, for the biggest issue, the temperature. During late afternoon the upstairs turns into a sauna and well the downstairs room with pool was a sauna the entire time. By the time we arrived, the heat had gotten so high that we couldn't get it back down to a to a comfortable temp. The portable unit only seem to blow hot air and the normal unit was locked, so unfortunately our time downstairs (the coolest part of the cabin) was kept to a minimum.

Great getaway!

We were glad to be in our Jeep Wrangled because the driveway was a bit steep but that's part of the adventure staying in a cabin we think. Close to town but yet private. I would recommend saving the codes to the door before you leave town because we didn't have signal when we first pulled in.. thankfully I had viewable voicemail that I was able to view and get into the cabin..management went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable.

Nice, cozy cabin

We enjoyed Mountain Splash. The cabin is in good condition, and was relatively clean. We like staying in the Arts and Crafts area, and this cabin was not too difficult to get to, and was about 10 minutes from town. There is a steep grade to get up to it, but that's common. There is a neighboring cabin very close, in fact right across the driveway, that was unexpected and occupied with what appears to be some locals. They weren't a problem or anything, just very close.The pool was lots of fun, but could have been warmer. We couldn't swim for more than 15 minutes or so without becoming too cold to take it anymore.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this cabin. No major problems or inconveniences. Like I stated, the cabin was clean. Carpets could use a shampooing, and floors needed mopping, but I'm very picky on cleanliness. Maybe that wouldn't bother someone else. It wouldn't stop me from renting this cabin again. Check in/out was a breeze. I loved getting the info via text message. We'd definitely use Elk Springs Rentals again!
