Each of Mountain Dream II’s 3 stories has its own deck, bedroom, and bathroom. Because it makes up the entire top floor, the master suite offers maximum privacy. That’s not the only feature in its favor, however. The bedroom includes a king-size bed, a toasty fireplace beneath a wall mounted flat-panel TV and a private bathroom that includes a jetted tub. A soak among its pulsating waters is certain to ease tired muscles. And if the jetted tub doesn’t put you in the mood for romance, a moonlit drink on the master suite’s private balcony will.
Down one level is the main floor. There’s plenty of space for everyone to gather, either in the great room or out on the huge wraparound deck. As soon as you kick back on the deck’s rocking chairs and hear the fresh mountain breeze whisper through the trees, you’ll ease right into vacation mode. The kids will clamor to sit on the deck swing during the day, while at night it’s an idyllic spot for stargazing with that special someone. And anytime is a good one to luxuriate in the deck’s hot tub (ahhh!).
Inside, the cathedral ceiling and the wall of windows contribute to the great room’s open, airy ambiance. You’ll love gathering by the stacked-stone fireplace, hot cocoa or Irish coffee in hand, after a day of skiing or snowshoeing. When you’re not watching a movie on the flat-screen TV, you can play Uno with the kids at the coffee table or nestle in the armchair to surf the web via the free WiFi.
The great room’s dining table seats 6 people, easily. The adjacent kitchen is fully equipped with appliances, gadgets, cookware, and tableware. Even if you plan to eat all your meals in the numerous nearby restaurants, you’ll still appreciate having a coffee maker for your morning cup and a refrigerator for keeping wine and juice boxes cold.
Also on the main floor is the 2nd bedroom. Like the 3rd bedroom, which is downstairs, it includes a comfy queen-size bed and a flat-panel TV. And if you have additional guests, both the sofa in the great room and the sofa in the downstairs game room convert into beds for 2.
Like the main floor’s great room, the game room is spacious and bright, with lustrous wood-planked walls, floor, and ceiling. The full-size pool table is the star attraction, but there’s also a large flat-screen TV and a pub table where you can play cards or just chat and laugh with friends and family… and isn’t that the best part of a vacation?
If you can tear yourself away from the comforts of the cabin, you’ll find the area’s myriad attractions just beyond your front door. Mountain Dreams II is less than a half-mile from the Gatlinburg Arts & Crafts Loop, an 8-mile trail of more than 100 galleries, studios, and shops. Less than 15 minutes away is the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, which you can explore on foot, on a bike, on horseback, or by car. Just slightly farther afield is the neighboring town of Pigeon Forge, whose attractions include Dollywood, the Titanic Museum, dinner theaters, and outlet shops.
It may be corny, but we’re going to say it anyway: Mountain Dreams II is like a dream come true. Make your dream vacation a reality: Book your stay today.

Mountain Dreams allowed our family to have a quiet and relaxing stay in the Smokies. Lack of seating was a problem for six adults and the two couches were in very poor condition.Would recommend to others? No
Thank you for choosing us on your recent trip. I am sorry to hear that you were disappointed in the seating quality and quantity - we will look into this further. We look forward to hosting you again on a future trip to the area!
Nice Mountain Escape
The cabin was very clean and I was shocked at the bathroom shower liners, they were very clean. The pictures were spot on from what they show online. It was a really beautiful cabin in a very nice area. There are a few complaints that I have. 1. The air conditioner has to stay set on 70 degrees and it was warm on the middle level of the cabin, that was uncomfortable. 2. As stated in previous reviews by other guests, the couches on the second level and ground level are very dirty, old and worn out. The fold out beds on those two couches are not comfortable at all and you could feel the springs in them. They definitely need to get two new couches for both of those areas. 3. The ironing board was a really small one and it was half way broke when we tried to use it. A good suggestion would be for them to get a normal size ironing board.Would recommend to others? Yes
This was a great rental that efficiently fit our family of 10! Customer service was excellent and fast! We felt very cared for!Would recommend to others? Yes
We had a wonderful time on our Gatlinburg vacation. It was nice to stay outside of the city but yet so close. We were very pleased with the cabin, except the 2 couch pullout beds were horribly uncomfortable. The description when I booked had said it had an air hockey game and that was not there. However, my 3 teenagers really enjoyed the pool table. Everything seemed very clean other than a few cobwebs here and there. The grill could be updated. We grilled several nights and it was an older, open grill with no lid which was difficult to keep burning during the frequent afternoon rain showers. Beautiful property!Would recommend to others? Yes
We really enjoyed the cabin, except for the couches that need to be replaced. We didn't sit around much which as a good thing. Since you would get a instant backache once you sat in it. The cabin itself was really nice and not to far from Gatlinburg. The decks were very nice to be able to sit outside. It would have been nice to have a better view of the mountains, but I'm really being picky. Would definitely stay again.Would recommend to others? Yes
Great location and beautiful cabin!
We stayed here at the Mountain Dreams cabin for a week last month. Great location about 5-10 minute drive to downtown Gatlinberg where there are tons of shops, restaurants and attractions. The cabin was very clean and spacious. There was cable tv and Internet which is a big plus with the kiddos. There was a great balcony and swing where you could sit out and enjoy the nature. The only two cons are the red couch in the living room was so uncomfortable and worn the arms had black spots and you couldn't even sit down without sinking to the ground. I wouldn't normally complain that much about a couch but it's in the main living area where you are sitting a lot. The only other complaint was that the master bed was hard as a rock and so uncomfortable. Other than that the cabin was awesome!Would recommend to others? Yes
Mountain Dreams was very accommodating for our group of 10. There are just a few things that would have made our experience better.1. The instructive notes were helpful but need to be updated for accuracy specifically the Wi-Fi connection information.2. The use time frame on both sleeper sofas and armchair has expired. They are very dirty and uncomfortable.3. Invest in a full sized ironing board.4. There are multiple trip hazards on the loosened carpet.5. More attention to detail cleaning the bathrooms (especially the lower level) is necessary. 6. Be mindful to regularly clean or replace the shower curtain liners.7. The refrigerator has a leak.We had a terrific time and these small suggestions would make this location A-1!Would recommend to others? Yes
Thank you for your review and four-star rating! We appreciate your feedback and will review with our cleaning team and guest services manager. Come back soon!
First time renting in this area
Overall satisfactory... Beds and sofas need replacing and there was no air hockey table.Would recommend to others? Yes
Thank you for your comments and four-star review! We apologize for the confusion on the air hockey table - this cabin is equipped with a pool table, hot tub, and other high-end features, but as you mentioned does not have air hockey. We will investigate replacing the sleeper sofas in the near term. Come back soon!
Didn't get something as advertised
The cabin was nice and in a good area the only things I will complain About is my bedroom floor was dirty while sesrching for a earring I had droppedI also found someone's contact and beer caps..I also found a beer cap in the hot tub I just feel like it could've been cleaned better and secondly it was advertised with having a air hockey table and it even had a sign for the air hockey table But it wasn't there I called about it although she was nice I still feel like I shouldn't have paid for something I didn't get..I wouldn't complain but this is one of the reasons I booked here because I had 3 children stay there.Would recommend to others? Yes
Hi Faye! Thanks so much for your positive review and for being a guest of ours! Regarding the air hockey tables, as we discussed on the phone the photos and the listing do not show or state this property has an air hockey table. I do understand that the previous company had a small sign on the wall that said there used to be one, however we intentionally did not advertise this as having an air hockey table since we knew it did not have one. We would love to host you again and look forward to being able to serve you again in the future. Thank you!
A Mountain Dream!
We absolutely loved Mountain Dreams. It was more than what we expected. The cabin is absolutely beautiful. Upon arrival we found cleaning crew finishing up. They did a splendid job. The cabin was full of character. The stove in the kitchen was amazing, the decor beautiful, the beds were comfortable and the decks were certainly enjoyed. After hiking or shopping, we enjoyed coming back for relaxation and a game of pool. The location was within the Arts and Craft community. Quiet but so near everything. The management team was unbeatable. They were very friendly and helpful. I would say the only difficult part of this vacation was leaving. We will definitely book Mountain Dreams again. New family memories made. You can book this cabin and not worry.Would recommend to others? Yes
