With three en-suite bedrooms—one on each floor—Cozy Bear II can accommodate several couples vacationing together as comfortably as it can a family. But whether you’re here with the kids or with friends, you’re sure to enjoy the private wooded surroundings and the hot tub, the pool table, the arcade, and the other amenities.
As you enter Cozy Bear II through the downstairs, the gleaming wood floor, walls, and ceiling of the game room will immediately win you over—as will the full-size pool table. While the billiard table takes pride of place, it’s not the only entertainment option. There’s also a multi-game arcade, a game table, and a flat-screen TV. You can also step out onto the deck—one of three that grace the cabin—and into the hot tub. A long soak among its steamy bubbles will feel especially rejuvenating after a day spent hiking, skiing, or exploring every corner of Dollywood.
Up one flight is the main floor, (where you’ll find the open, airy great room), large windows allow you to look out at the old-growth trees while you stretch out on the sofa or eat at the dining table. In winter you’ll love sipping hot cocoa or Irish coffee by the stone-surround fireplace; in summer you’ll enjoy reading beneath the breeze of the ceiling fan. And any time of year is dandy for kicking back with your family and friends to watch a movie on the flat-panel TV.
The log-style dining area seats four, and another two people can settle in at the breakfast bar. The breakfast bar doubles as extra counter space, should you decide to prepare a multi-course feast. And why not? After all, the kitchen has all the appliances, gadgets, cookware, and tableware you could possibly need. And if it’s barbecue you’re craving, you’ll be glad to know that Cozy Bear II has an outdoor grill.
Walk up one more flight of stairs, and you’re in the loft, which has been made into a spacious, luxurious master suite. From the king-size bed, you can gaze out through a wall of windows to the private balcony and the woodlands beyond. Before slipping under the covers, enjoy a romantic nightcap in the moonlight; in the morning wake up to the sight of sun-dappled trees and the singing of wrens and warblers. The suite has a roomy sitting area as well, with a sofa and a TV, as well as its own private bathroom.
The other two bedrooms each have a queen-size bed along with a TV and a private bathroom. The main floor’s bathroom features a little something extra: a jetted tub. Go ahead and pamper yourself with a lazy soak—you deserve it! If you have additional guests, they can sleep in the great room; the sofa opens up into a queen-size bed, enabling Cozy Bear II to accommodate up to eight overnight guests in all.
The cabin’s other amenities include free WiFi, cable channels, a washer and dryer, and rocking chairs on the covered decks—after all, what’s a mountain cabin without rockers?
The greatest amenity of all, however, might be Cozy Bear II’s location within the Sky Harbor neighborhood. Because it’s midway between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, you’re close to the shops, restaurants, and attractions of both towns. Downtown Gatlinburg—home to the Guinness World Records Museum, an aquarium, thrill rides, and a tram that carries passengers up to Ober Gatlinburg Ski Area and Amusement Park—is less than twenty minutes away. Just as close is the Pigeon Forge Parkway, where you’ll find the Titanic Museum, Dixie Stampede, mini golf, go karts, and more. And don’t forget the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Dollywood: Both are (you guessed it) no more than twenty minutes away.
There’s so much to love about Cozy Bear II: its comfortable furnishings, its luxurious amenities, its privacy, its convenience. Make your reservation today… before someone else beats you to it!
Please remember that Gatlinburg and the surrounding area is a mountain town with snow and icy conditions during the winter. Inclement weather can affect driving and parking conditions regardless of the property, driveway, or roads. We strongly recommend four-wheel drive and/or chains during the winter months.
