Description

Please note that construction for a new cabin is currently underway directly behind Saddle Ridge. You may experience construction noise during business hours.

A stay at Saddle Ridge means fun for the whole family-and that includes the four-legged members too, as the cabin is pet-friendly. Located in the popular Black Bear Falls community, the 2-bedroom log cabin includes amenities ranging from a multigame arcade table to an outdoor hot tub to free pool access in the summer. Just as important, it's only minutes to restaurants, shops, golf, hiking, skiing, fishing, amusement parks, and more.

As you drive up to Saddle Ridge, the first thing you'll note is how gorgeous its surroundings are. The property itself is impeccably landscaped, and the views of the woods and the Great Smoky Mountains are breathtaking.

The cabin's decks allow you to make the most of the vistas and the fresh mountain breezes. The main-level deck, which wraps around the front and side of the home, is furnished with comfortable Adirondack chairs, a bench, and a porch swing. There's more than enough room for everyone to hang out. Part of the deck is covered so that you can relish the sights and sounds rain or shine.

You can even cook and eat outdoors too, thanks to the charcoal grill and the picnic table. If you managed to reel in some trout or bass from one of the nearby streams, it'll taste fantastic cooked on the grill... but so will hamburgers and kabobs!

The lower-level deck offers one more way to soak up the beauty of the setting: an outdoor hot tub. Lazing among the steamy bubbles while gazing up at the stars is a glorious way to end the day!

The downstairs deck opens onto the game room. There really is something for everyone here. Adults can practice their shots at the custom-built pool table while the kids play Donkey Kong and Pac-Man at the arcade table, and everyone will enjoy watching the flat-panel TV.

The main living area upstairs has its own flat-screen TV (no arguments over what to watch!). Decorated in relaxed rustic refinement, this room is warmly welcoming-especially in winter, when the gas fireplace casts a golden glow over the wood walls. Large windows let the sunshine stream in, and the cathedral ceiling adds to the open, airy ambiance.

Should you tire of grilling and eating outdoors, you can get cooking in the cabin's kitchen, which is fully equipped with appliances, cookware, and tableware, and enjoy at family meal at the log dining table. It's indoors, but you can still look out at that gorgeous view!

Each of Saddle Ridge's 2 floors has its own primary bedroom, full-size bath, and sofa bed (one in the living room, the other in the game room). This makes the cabin as well suited for 2 couples or even 2 families as it is for a larger family. Both spacious bedrooms include a log-frame king-size bed, a flat-screen TV, and a ceiling fan (its gentle whirr is a lovely lullaby). The main-floor bedroom does have an additional perk, though: a jetted tub, perfect for some quality “me” time.

While there's plenty to do at Saddle Ridge itself, even more fun is just a short drive away. In the summer there's free access to the Black Bear Falls heated pools, one for kids and another for adults. You're also just a 5-minute drive to downtown Gatlinburg, home to distilleries, an aquarium, mini golf, restaurants, and more. Also nearby is the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, where you can hike, bike, fish, ride horses, or explore by car. And don't forget the Gatlinburg Arts and Crafts Loop, an 8-mile trail of more than 100 galleries, studios, and crafts shops.

When you stay at Saddle Ridge, your vacation can be as action-packed or as laid-back as you like-that's the beauty of this amenity-packed cabin. So what are you waiting for? Make your reservation today, and start planning how you'll spend your stay.

You will not be disappointed, Family friendly!

This cabin is absolutely wonderful! It met all of our needs and then some. I will say the hot tub didn't have as good of view as expected and the hill to GET to the cabin is really steep if you aren't familiar. We would absolutely stay in this area again. Very quiet, peaceful. Pool table, actual pool, games, tv, wifi...it's all there.

A great mountain getaway...

The cabin was beautiful and decorated for Christmas. There is a beautiful view of the mountains from the living room. The kitchen was more than adequately stocked for all your cooking needs. The hot tub and jacuzzi were perfect. Easy to navigate neighborhood and the city. Only complaint was both beds in the cabin were extra firm and uncomfortable.

Has potiental..needs some TLC

Cabin is very cute and the location is great! Comes with everything u need for a weekend. The reason I gave this cabin 3 stars and not 5 is kind of nit picky but it’s a bunch of little things I think could be easily fixed.. 1st this place needs a good deep cleaning..there is cob webs In the corners, blinds are caked with dust, and by the looks of the bottom of my feet the kitchen floor hasn’t been mopped in a while. One of the bumpers on the pool table is broke, the lights in the hot tub don’t work, the tub downstairs doesn’t drain and the beds are so squeaky every time someone moves it wakes you up. Now I’m done being picky..other than the things I named it was a great place..I would Give his place another chance but if I came back and these things were not taken care of there are many other cabins to choose from.
