Dream Catcher is the perfect combination of the rustic and the refined. Its log frame, welcoming front porch, and woodland setting hint at simple mountain pleasures, but the outdoor hot tub, the 2 indoor jetted tubs, the flat-panel TVs, and the billiard table are luxury all the way.

With its 2 en-suite bedrooms, the 3-story cabin is ideal for a family or 2 couples vacationing together. The master suite makes up the entire loft level. Along with exceptional privacy, it offers a king-size bed you’ll love sprawling out on, whether it’s to watch TV, take advantage of the free WiFi, or gaze out the windows at the treetops swaying in the breeze. The private bathroom includes its own jetted tub. It’s perfect for soothing your weary muscles after a day of hiking, skiing, or golfing… and for getting you in a romantic frame of mind! The 2nd suite, on the main level, is just as elegant and pampering. It too has a jetted tub in its private bathroom, plus a sumptuous four-poster queen-size bed.

What’s more, another 2 people can make themselves at home in the sleeping space just off the downstairs game room: Not only is there a futon that opens into a bed for 2, but there’s a 3rd full bathroom as well. If you’re vacationing with kids, they’ll probably beg to make these sleeping quarters their own: Who wouldn’t want a pool table in their bedroom? Yes, the downstairs game room has a full-size billiard table, plus a flat-panel TV with cable channels and surround sound. Even if you don’t play pool or want to watch TV, it’s still a welcoming spot to hang out, thanks to the comfortable couch and rocking chairs.

Up on the main floor, the great room is an even more delightful space to relax. Large windows let in plenty of sunshine and look out over lush woodlands toward the Great Smoky Mountains. Two cushiony leather sofas invite you to settle back and watch a movie on the flat-screen TV, get lost in a good book, or even stretch out for a nap. And in winter you’ll love gathering by the wood-burning fireplace with a cup of hot cocoa or Irish coffee.

The great room also has a dining table that easily seats 4 and an adjacent breakfast bar for 2 more. In addition, the breakfast bar provides generous counter space when you’re cooking in the kitchen, which is fully equipped with all the appliances, gadgets, cookware, and tableware you’ll need, whether you’re preparing a romantic dinner for 2 or a holiday feast for a crowd.

You can take your meals outdoors, to the picnic table on the main floor’s wraparound deck. You can cook out there as well, courtesy of the charcoal grill. And given how fabulous the views are, you’ll probably want to spend as much time outdoors as possible. That’s why, in addition to the picnic table, Dream Catcher has rockers on its deck and front porch. For sheer relaxation, it’s tough to beat kicking back on a rocking chair and gazing out at the mountains while wrens and warblers put on a concert. The only thing more rejuvenating is to view the mountains and listen to the songbirds from a hot tub—and happily Dream Catcher does have a hot tub on its lower deck!

Because Dream Catcher is located in Gatlinburg’s private Cobbly Nob neighborhood within a 1,000-acre resort, in the summer you’ll have free access to its 2 swimming areas. Deciding which pool to swim in each day just might be the toughest part of your stay! Another plus: At the foot of the resort is the award-winning Bent Creek Golf Course, designed by legendary golfer Gary Player.

Gorgeous views, luxurious amenities, and a golf course practically at your doorstep: If that’s what you’re looking for in a vacation getaway, then Dream Catcher is a dream come true. So don’t miss out; book your stay today. We can’t wait to see you!

Was a disappointment to rent a cabin with mold, no pest control inside, and just plain dirty

Outdated/Needs Some TLC

The cabin is very outdated and needs a lot of TLC. It was very dusty on the inside, a few carpet stains and odd odors, the sofa bed was broken and rigged with wooden blocks, the outside of the fridge was dirty and needed wiped down but the inside was pretty clean, and the roof started leaking when there was a heavy rain storm. I could name off a few more odds and ends, but you get the idea. There was a fair amount of creepy crawlers (dead and alive) in the cabin; mostly large black ants, spiders, and centipedes. On the bright side, the location was awesome, the hot tub was clean and useable, the A/C worked, there is a washer and dryer to use, and it was a place to sleep at night. Overall, the cabin served its purpose and gave us a place to rest and shower between activities. I would probably not stay a 2nd time as I prefer a more clean and updated environment; however, if you don’t mind dust, grime, creepy crawlers, or outdated electronics and appliances, this cabin would be a fine place to stay during your trip.

Dream maker.

The cabin was clean and very easy to find. The direction on the email were easy to follow. The cabin itself lived up to the expectations. The view from the back porch was breathtaking.

Cozy Bear II rental

The property was very nice, but the cleaning staff could have done a better job. There was so much dust and debris under all the beds, and cobwebs in the ceilings in loft/master bedroom. Hard to lay in bed and look up at all that. We talked to management about 1st floor bathtub not draining and no one came out to fix, so we couldn't shower in that bathroom. We did enjoy ourselves and overall the house was great. We think though that the listing should state that this property is very high up and has very steep roads to get to and that it is reccomended that renters have a 4 wheel drive truck.
