Description

Every night is made for romance when you stay at Star Struck. Nestled among towering trees on a quiet back road, the charming log cabin is ideal for a honeymoon, an anniversary getaway, or any other escape you want to take with that special someone. And if you couldn’t possibly enjoy a getaway without your four-legged friend along, you’re in luck: Star Struck is even pet-friendly!

Star Struck’s spacious deck, which wraps around the side and back of the cabin, makes it easy for you to savor the splendor of the woodlands. Start your day on the rockers with a cup of freshly brewed coffee as you listen to wrens and warblers; end your evening gazing up at the stars with whip-poor-wills and owls as a soundtrack. The only better way to soak up the surroundings is while literally soaking in the deck’s hot tub! You’ll especially relish it's roiling of steamy water when you return from hiking, biking, skiing, or rafting: There’s no more pleasurable way to soothe sore muscles.

Should you prefer to do your soaking indoors, you’ll love Star Struck’s heart-shaped jetted tub. Like the outdoor hot tub, it can accommodate the pair of you. To warm up the proceedings even further, you can bask in the glow of the gas fireplace while you luxuriate—and you can even watch a movie on the wall mounted flat-panel TV with satellite channels and a DVD player.

In fact, Star Struck’s open layout enables you to watch TV and enjoy the warmth of the fireplace even as you snuggle under the covers of the queen-size bed, nestle together on the generously cushioned sofa, or whip up a meal in the kitchen. And don’t be fooled by the kitchen’s compact size: It’s equipped with a full-scale refrigerator/freezer, oven/stove, and microwave, along with gadgets, cookware, and tableware. Plus there’s a charcoal grill on the deck: For a true Smoky Mountain feast, grill some trout that you reeled in yourself from nearby Little Pigeon River, then enjoy it at the cabin’s table for 2 right by the fireplace—so romantic!

Even lovebirds want to leave their nest on occasion. Star Struck’s convenient location midway between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge means you can easily get to the attractions of both towns. Pigeon Forge is probably best known for Dollywood, but it’s also home to the Titanic Museum, Outdoor Gravity Park (where you can give zorbing a try), go-karting, ATV trails, music revues, and outlet malls. In downtown Gatlinburg, you can visit the Guinness World Records Museum, Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, distilleries, and more. And let’s not forget Ober Gatlinburg Amusement Park & Ski Area, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and the Gatlinburg Arts and Crafts Loop.

Access to attractions, romantic luxuries, and nature’s grandeur as far as the eye can see: Star Struck has it all… and more. So why not make it all yours by booking your getaway today?

Beautiful place but needs upgrades

It's a beautiful place but bring some cleaners with you. They didn't do a good job of cleaning it. I had to go out, buy cleaners, Clorox and candles to clean up the place. Also bring utensils and cups. Tge ones there were broken, cracked or stained. Bring filters for coffee pot and if planning in having a romantic night with wine...bring a cork screwer...

Clean and relaxing!

Everything seems to be pretty new and very clean! Was very impressed with the cabin and its price. It\'s up on a pretty steep hill in the woods - which is what we wanted. But you definitely need to be cautious on your drive up to your cabin. It was worth it and what to expect in the area; which is breathtakingly beautiful.

A good experience

Very relaxing and quiet . Far enough away from everything but still close to everything. Rocky start when the door code didn\'t work but easy call and fix. No internet and no tv which was \"offered\" but it\'s a mountain vacation so somewhat expected. Overall enjoyable for a getaway from everything to sleep in and unwind.
