Fall in Love With Our Smoky Mountain Wedding Venues

Calling all lovebirds!

Spring is around the corner which means it’s almost wedding season. If you or someone you love is planning a wedding, consider a rustic Great Smoky Mountains ceremony. Gorgeous vistas, romantic settings, and charming décor make a joyous occasion even more magical. Some of our favorite venues are below!

Eat, Drink, and be Married at the Lodge

If you want to get married with the majestic smoky mountains as your backdrop, the Lodge at Brother’s Cove, located in Sevierville-just 18-miles outside Gatlinburg, is a great place. Here, the bride and groom can exchange vows in the outdoor gazebo with over 450 acres of stunning mountain views behind them.

After the service, guests walk just a few steps to the mountain lodge for an opulent reception under vaulted ceilings and iron chandeliers. Massive windows surround the room, so the mountain views continue inside. With the help of the on-site event staff who handle the details, the newly married couple can have their cake and eat it too.

Get Hitched in a Barn

Barn weddings are all the rage, thanks to Pinterest and the revitalization of mason jars and burlap. This type of wedding venue offers a weather-safe space and can be both rustic and elegant at the same time.

Located 25 miles from Gatlinburg and 20 miles from Pigeon Forge, the Lily Barn is the perfect spot for a country-style ceremony. This 130-year old cantilever-style barn is nestled on a 100-acre farm. With overhanging lights and the surrounding 3-acre flower garden, this location feels nothing short of magical. Let the owners handle the catering and florist needs for you!

Note: the farm is located at the entrance of scenic Cades Cove.

Going to the Chapel, Going to Get Married

Looking for a more traditional wedding experience? Keep it classic with one of the adorable mountain chapels in the area.

The cozy Creekside Cove Wedding Chapel offers an intimate space for a tear-jerking wedding. Inside, you will find stained glass windows and a cottage-feel. Outside, find expansive mountain views surrounded by lush forest.

Another option is the enchanting Chapel at the Preserve, located 6 minutes from downtown Pigeon Forge, which includes a bell tower and dramatic mountain backdrop. The pews and high-arched ceiling that are inside the chapel will make you feel like you’re in a fairy-tale.

Adventurous couples who are after a thrilling ceremony should look no further than the Gatlinburg Sky Lift for their loving union. The bride and groom exchange vows, then take the chairlift up to a 1,800-ft breathtaking overview of the city and mountains below.

The wedding ceremony is very affordable and includes a photographer.  If the weather doesn’t cooperate, you can have your ceremony at the chapel in the historic Gatlinburg Inn. It’s a wedding win-win.
