It’s a children’s pool area with lots of interactive fun and no shortage of shady hangouts for accompanying grownups.
Situated in the heart of Dollywood’s Splash Country close to the Campsite Grill and the concessions, Little Creek Falls is a great destination for families with younger children visiting the Pigeon Forge waterpark. It includes a spacious kid’s pool with slides, fountains, and a hands-on activity structure sure to be a magnet for any and all tykes.
Shady perches await underneath the wings of the huge butterflies marking the play area and at one of the seven canopies at Little Creek Falls available for rent.
Little Creek Falls is open to adults and children under 48 inches tall. It’s one of the main low-speed, children-focused playscapes in Dollywood’s Splash Country along with The Cascades—a huge lagoon pool boasting a geyser and a cascading grotto—and the popular 25,000-square-foot wave pool called Mountain Waves. All three are great options for families enjoying Splash Country with toddlers in tow.
There’s also the multi-level Bear Mountain Fire Tower play structure, complete with water cannons and multiple slides plus the crowning, 1,000-gallon bucket that periodically unleashes a delightful downpour.
Of course, many of the rides themselves at Dollywood’s Splash Country can be enjoyed by young kids with their adult companions, including the lazy inner-tube river cruise on the Downbound Float Trip and the faster-paced Big Bear Plunge, Raging River Rapids, and Mountain Twist.
