Pork Rinds doesn’t offer the smorgasbord that some of Dollywood’s other restaurants and snack shacks do. What this little joint does do, however, is make very good pork rinds.

The pork rinds here are made fresh, and you may well hear them sizzling as you walk by. If you haven’t had freshly fried pork rinds before, you’ll notice a much richer flavor and crunchier texture than what’s sold in bags elsewhere. Additionally, there’s not just one type of pork rind available. In addition to the classic pork rind that’s unadulterated, you can also get barbecue rinds that come with a tasty sauce. There’s a reason pork rinds are a beloved and established Southern treat. Try some regardless of whether you’ve had them before, because few places make rinds as good as they do here.

Along with pork rinds, there are also some other basic snack options on the menu. For example, bags of cotton candy or popcorn are usually available. There are also several non-alcoholic beverage options.

The shack is located as you enter Craftsmans Valley from Owens Farm, and it’s a quick stop for a snack between the two park sections.

– If you’ve never had pork rinds before and are unsure about getting an order, at least stop by for a free sample. They’re almost always available, and you can decide whether a full order is worth getting after you taste one.
– Should you plan on perusing Craftsman’s Valley many shops, head to the nearby Owen’s Farm instead of the shop after getting some pork rinds. You can tour the farm area while eating this greasy food and then, wipe off your hands before you go shopping. That way, your fingers won’t leave grease marks on any items you pick up.
