Dollywood and Coronavirus: Everything You Need to Know

Due to COVID-19 (Coronovirus), many businesses including Dollywood were forced to temporarily close or open later than scheduled. Dollywood is expected to reopen sometime in early June and we know that visitors will have lots of questions about what to expect under the new guidelines and safety measures. 

Here we have compiled a list of frequently asked questions regarding Dollywood and Coronavirus:

When will Dollywood Open to the public? 

Dollywood will open exclusively to Season Passholders on June 15. It will open to reservations for Season Passholders and general admission daily tickets on June 17. The DreamMore Resort & Spa will reopen on June 10.

**Important Note: Guests are now required to make a reservation prior to attending. 

How do I reserve my visit to Dollywood or Dollywood’s Splash Country?

Reservations can be made for one date and one park per session. If you would like to visit the park on multiple dates, you will need to make a separate reservation for each date. Reservations can be made up to 45 days in advance.

Will I have to wear a mask? 

Face masks or face coverings are required for all guests ages 3 and older when visiting Dollywood. 

Will guests have to undergo temperature screenings upon arrival? 

Temperature screenings will be taken prior to entry. If a temperature of 100.4 or greater is determined, the guest and those who traveled in the same vehicle with the guest will not be permitted to enter. Refunds or rain checks may be offered.

Will Dollywood Operate at Full Capacity?

Daily park capacity will be limited and all attractions and dining capacities will be limited to allow guests more space to move around during their visit.

Will social distancing measures be in place?

Yes. Guests will be asked to remain 6ft apart and measures have been put in place for line queues, marked barriers, and reminders throughout the park.

Will Dollywood implement additional cleaning procedures to protect guests? 

Yes. High touchpoint areas will be cleaned more frequently and additional hand sanitizing locations have been added. Click here for a full list of new safety measures.

What about my 2020 Season Pass? 

All current 2020 Season Passes will be extended through June 1, 2021. To make sure that families will have plenty of time to enjoy their 2020 season passes, Dollywood has chosen to extend the pass until June 1, 2021.  This also applies to the FREE Pre-K Imagination Season Pass. Your pass will be automatically updated, there is nothing you need to do. 

How do I redeem my Summer Bring-A-Friend Free?

When you make a reservation for the season passholders in your party, you will be prompted to include any Bring-A-Friend tickets you want to use during your visit. You can only include one specific Bring-A-Friend ticket in one reservation. 

What about the 2020 Dollywood Splash Country Season Pass or 2020 Superpass?

These will also be extended through June 1, 2021.
