Welcome to Steppin' to Beech, a newly updated condo within walking distance to Beech Ski Resort, Poppy's Coffee Shop, and more! Per the building's POA, air conditioning of any form is not allowed in this property. Step inside and you'll immediately feel relaxed in this cozy condo. The kitchen features new matte stainless appliances with a Keurig coffee pot. Over the bar with its seating for four hang gorgeous, modern pendants for lighting. In the living room, the TV sits over the electric fireplace, perfect for that mountain ambience! Surrounding it are several seating options, including a leather sofa. The hanging barn doors lead to the suite, with a Queen bed, sofa, electric fireplace, and TV, plus the full bathroom with a tub/shower combination. Off of the entrance near the kitchen is a washer and dryer, neatly tucked in the closet. The deck offers seating and seasonal views, but this property is also big on location. - Guests may enjoy the Clubhouse at Mid-Holiday for additional gathering areas with a kitchen and additional washer/dryers. Access code given before arrival. - Beech Mountain visitors center, mini-golf, and free sledding hill are 2 miles away along with multiple locations for hiking trail access. You can also enjoy everything Beech Mountain Ski resort offers all seasons to include biking, hiking, skating, skiing, dining, and Land of Oz. - Buckeye recreation center is under 4 miles. The wedding barn is approximately 2 miles. Outdoor courts, walking paths are open to the public. - A short drive down the mountain will bring you to Banner Elk for more dining and shopping options as well as our new Alpine coaster, zip lining, multiple wineries, gem mining, Blowing Rock, Grandfather Mountain, Otter Falls, Linville Caverns, river rafting, and Sugar Mountain public golf course. - Boone, home of Appalachian State University, is 40 minutes away. - Asheville is less than 2 hours away . - This unit is dog friendly, allowing one dog per stay for additional rent of $25/night plus tax. - Check In after 4pm. Check Out by 10am. - Please note the building is currently under renovation with construction work that may be happening around the unit. - AWD/4WD and possibly chains may be needed to access all homes on Beech Mountain in times of snow or ice. Please plan accordingly. - Guests returning to Stepping to Beech may receive a discount of 10% to the rent, not to be combined with other discounts to the room rent.
