This home will be your own unique retreat, as it is the only home in the area looking over Buckeye Lake in Beech Mountain, providing peace and serenity as soon as you arrive. Step inside and you will be greeted by gorgeous hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, and an open living area complete with plush leather furnishings, a stone fireplace, and a large flatscreen Roku TV. When you want to grab a bit of fresh air, step out to the large upper deck and make the most of the gas grill and tiled outdoor table to dine al fresco as you soak up the views. Speaking of dining, more formal meals can easily be prepared by the chef of the group in the well-appointed kitchen boasting granite countertops, stainless steel double ovens, a five-burner gas stove, a large refrigerator to stock up groceries in, and a dishwasher for easy cleanup! This upper level is also home to three bedrooms including the primary bedroom with a ensuite featuring granite counter tops, a double vanity and large soaking tub. The kiddos and young at heart will love hanging out downstairs, as the game room offers a ping-pong table, air hockey, and an 80s-inspired full size arcade machine to throw it back to the good old days. An 85-inch Roku TV completes the setting for a movie after the competition winds down. With a mini-fridge and sink close by, everything you need to have a blast is all right there. Sliding doors open up from this living space onto a large deck featuring a porch swing for book reading or conversations. The lower level also features an oversized bedroom with a king-size select comfort bed that can be adjusted to your comfort level. Should you need to do a bit of work while away, there is a desk that will meet that need, as well as a cozy chair for reading! You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a firestarter for $25 plus tax. - Towels and linens will be provided for you. - All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. - Cell service is patchy but Wi-Fi is very strong. There is a landline with long distance. - A very strong high-speed internet and WiFi, perfect for working from home and streaming. - Shane's Park (.3 miles) nearby features small ropes course, fishing, camping, canoes and kayaks for rent at the recreation center across the road.
