This is a cute, two bedroom, one bath cottage style home that sits on 12 acres. It has a great nature vibe to it, which can provide for a nice and relaxing staycation. Off the kitchen is a relaxing queen bedroom. Through this room is access to the full bathroom and a short hallway that leads to the second bedroom with a twin and twin trundle. Each bedroom has it's own TV. Enjoy a cup of tea or coffee in the mornings and soak in the mountainside. Newly installed on the deck is a hot tub. Explore the 12 acres outside, including the firepit. The Apple Barn is minutes away, and the Valle Crucis Community Park with public fishing, playground, and summer concert series is less than ten minutes away. Explore the Original Mast Store and Mast Store Annex, or grab dinner at Over Yonder without ever leaving the Valle Crucis area. Downtown Boone and App State are only 20 minutes away. - This home allows two dogs for additional rent of $25 each per night. - The home has window AC units for cooling. - Check In after 4pm. Check Out by 10am. - Firewood for the firepit may be purchased at the time of booking or with one week's notice. You'll receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundled of firewood and a firestarter for $25/night. - While the driveway and parking offer easy access, AWD/4WD is needed for all mountain homes in times of snow or ice. Please plan accordingly. - Guests returning to Dutch Creek Cottage may receive a discount of 5%, not to be combined with other discounts to the room rent. - Bookings canceled at least 60+days before the start of stay will receive 100% refund.
