Inside the cabin you'll find a warm and welcoming great room, recently updated with all new furnishings and decor. The stone gas fireplace, operable from October-April only, extends to the top of a vaulted ceiling to keep you cozy while you stream your favorite channels in the main living area. Prepare everything from quick snacks to complete dinners in the well-equipped, full kitchen, or on the deck with the gas grill, and then dine together at the table for six or outside in the fresh air at the picnic table. You'll find an additional living area on the lower-level with a second TV and a shuffleboard table - a great space for the kids to call their own! And outdoors, admire the forest views from the furnished rear deck or the front porch complete with a swing, splash in the creek in the back yard, or head downstairs to the covered patio to enjoy a soothing soak in your private hot tub. Time for bed? Here you'll find a bedroom and full bathroom on each floor, offering a nice layout and privacy for everyone. All three bedrooms offer a Queen sized bed, and the bedroom on the top level also offers a fullsized futon, perfect for one or two kiddos. Each bathroom has a tub/shower combination. Hawksnest Cabin is perfectly located in the charming mountain town of Seven Devils, midway between Boone and Banner Elk. Hawksnest Snow Tubing and Zipline is less than 5 minutes away, and countless local attractions and wonderful shopping & dining options are within 20 minutes' drive. Need additional room? Hawksnest Cabin is next door to The Nut House! IMPORTANT NOTES: - Please note that guests are not allowed to bring their own wood-burning device (portable fire pits, Solo Stoves, etc) of any kind. This is a town ordinance and hefty fines will be passed on to guests who break this rule. - All linens and towels are provided for your stay. - All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. - The gas fireplace is only operational during the months of October-April. It is turned off and decorative during warmer months. - AWD or 4WD vehicles are required during winter months. All main roads on Seven Devils are paved but can be quite steep in some places. - This home is pet friendly for mature, well-trained dogs only. The pet fee is $25/nt per pet. Dog breeds not allowed in this home include Akita, Pit bull, Staffordshire Terrier, Chow, Presa Canario, Rottweiler, Shar-Pei, Wolf Hybrid, or a mix with any of these breeds. Thank you for not requesting an exception. - Please note that the owners of this home use a security camera to monitor the driveway to ensure the home remains safe when unoccupied.
