Description

Trails End Lodge is the perfect getaway for those ready to explore! This three bedroom, two bath home has the trailhead for Upper Pond Creek Trail on site, and is across the street from Perry Park and the trailhead for Overlook Trail. Exactly one mile from Beech Mountain Ski Resort, Trails End Lodge is an updated Beech Mountain home with access to activities year round, including hiking, skiing, tubing, mountain biking, golfing, fishing, whitewater rafting, & wine tasting. Enter the living room, with the gas log fireplace that starts with the push of a remote and smart TV with Apple TV/Netflix/Hulu. The large sectional and recliners give room to gather after a meal. The kitchen is beautifully redone, with a butcherblock island, stainless appliances, leathered granite counters, wine cooler, and a coffee lover's station, complete with Keurig, a 12 cup coffee maker, French press, grinder, and a tea kettle, as well. Off of the kitchen is the game area, with foosball and a drawer stocked with card games. The dining table is a small step up with seating for 6. Bar seating for 5 is available at the island and bar-style table beside the sofa. The main level has a Queen bedroom with Roku TV. The first full bath is in the hallway just before the bedroom with a shower. Upstairs is a loft with desk and chair, should a bit of work carry over during your stay. Two bedrooms are upstairs, a Queen bedroom with Roku TV, and a King with a smart LG TV. They share a spacious bathroom with double granite vanity and a tub/shower comb. On the deck is a covered area with outdoor dining for six. Rocking chairs sit next to the fire pit, overlooking the large yard and the trailhead for Upper Pond Creek Trail. On the lower deck there are more seats to sit and relax or soak in the new hot tub while listening to the creek. While this homeowner has pets, the home is not pet friendly for rentals. - AWD/4WD and/or chains will be required in times of snow/ice. It is recommended during all winter months. - Firewood may be added at the time of booking by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You get two wrapped bundles and a firestarter for $25/night. - Guests returning to Trails End Lodge may receive a discount of 10%, not to be combined with other discounts to the room rent.
