Pipers Peak

Welcome to Piper's Peak, a beautiful home a few minutes from Boone with a wide open, long range view of the North Carolina mountains. Located 1.5 miles off of Highway 421, Piper's Peak has a newly remodeled kitchen with granite counters and a large island for preparing meals together. There are two tables allowing everyone to sit and enjoy dinner or one of many board games provided. The living room has a large, leather sectional with a TV, DVD, and a library of movies. The wall of windows shows the fabulous view, or you can step out onto the deck to enjoy. The king suite is on the main level, with a luxurious private bath. The wormwood vanity, jetted tub, and shower with multiple body sprays will give you a place to relax and find your calm. It also offers heated floors and a towel warmer to keep you pampered when you step out of the shower or bath. A second full bath is near the kitchen and the stairs to the loft. The shower has glass doors, and the custom mirror and shelving over the vanity are beautiful. On the lower level are two queen bedrooms, each with a TV and ceiling fan. There is a shared bath in the hallway that has a shower with glass doors. A gameroom with ping pong, foosball, seating, and a TV. In the loft, you'll have a perfect retreat for the children, or anyone who loves to play games. There is air hockey and an arcade, as well as a futon, game chairs, and a TV. Curtains can be pulled to block the sunlight and give extra privacy. Sleeping in the loft has a twin over full bunk bed, two twins, and a full sized futon. Outside by the deck is a large hot tub with stunning views of the mountains. In the back yard is also a fire pit surrounded by log seating. You'll have plenty to do without ever leaving the home. If you do wish to explore the High Country, you are only 10-12 minutes from Boone, 30 minutes to App Ski Mountain and Blowing Rock. Dogs are welcome for an additional rent of $25/night per pet. Please note that the last mile to access the home is a narrow gravel road with marked speed humps. The driveway is an additional half mile with a very steep climb to the top. AWD/4WD is recommended all year round, and chains may be necessary if there is any snow or ice. Please plan accordingly and stay safe!
