The main level consists of a large living room with a stone wood-burning fireplace and exposed beam cathedral ceilings. Cozy furniture is arranged around a widescreen plasma TV with DVD and VCR. There is a dining area to one side of the fully equipped kitchen, and off the kitchen is a covered deck furnished with a gas grill and a hot tub. The main level also has a bedroom with a queen bed, full-sized futon, TV & DVD player, and a full bathroom. The upper level of the home features a loft with a queen sized bed. The master bedroom has a King bed, TV and DVD/VCR player, and a full bathroom. The lower level contains the third bedroom with a twin-over-full bunk bed set, a foosball table, and a TV with a DVD player. Rest and relax as you enjoy the mountain breezes and views while soaking in the hot tub. Access to the New River, one of the oldest rivers in the world and the only river in North America that flows South to North, is at the Big Hill Community Park just a short drive from the cabin and is perfect for tubing, rafting, fishing, and more. There are outfitters who host rafting and tubing trips, as well as guided fishing trips on the New River (as well as the other nearby rivers). This is a special treat in the spring, summer and fall! . Bring your food, park your car for days, and enjoy a retreat from the rest of the world! Located just 10 minutes north of Boone shopping and dining, and within 30 minutes to Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, Main Street Blowing Rock, Appalachian Ski Mountain, Hawksnest Tubing & Zipline, and Appalachian State University, and within 45 minutes to Sugar Mountain and Ski Beech.
